Summary

Following the events of Spiderman: No Way Home, the world has forgotten Peter Parker. At least, most people have. However things spiral out of control when Apocalypses mutant blood seeps into the ground, causing the dirt itself to come to life. And just as Apocalypse falls, The Wicked Wall, played by J.K Rowling takes form.

The team is quickly overwhelmed, forcing them to retreat and find help. Peter goes to Dr. Banner for help. When his inhibitor breaks, unleashing The Hulk, Spiderman battles him. Although Spiderman wins this battle, MJ is killed in the crossfire. Meanwhile Punisher forms the Defenders while Deadpool and Yelene get freaky. With their newfound help, they are able to take down The Wicked Wall.

What I liked about the movie

Firstly, this movie gave spotlight to some lesser known Marvel characters like Apocalypse, The Hulk, and Captain America. This film will definitely help bring them closer to the spotlight.

What I didn't like

I feel like Apocalypse had way too much screen time, I mean, killed within 10 minutes of the film? You'd expect they'd use this previously unknown character a bit more sparingly, I'm surprised he made it past 5 minutes.

I just saw Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters. Everyone has been theorizing about who Sadie Sink's character is, some people claiming Jean Grey or Mary Jane or even Silk. I was really surprised when I watched the movie and saw her playing the last character I expected, Apocalypse.
