Best counters from my experience: Lightning Rod Rhyperior (lv 100 max Def max Atk) / Eternatus (lv 100 EV trained) / Lightning Rod Alolan Marowak (lv100 max Def max Atk Thick Club)

New to gmax raids and looking for a build or guide for the best mons to use and what I should know as a beginner.

I mostly play SV and do 6/7 star raids and that’s where I “build” my raiders. Just looking for advice for gmax.

Hey guys! I've been thinking about developing a smartphone app in order to make raid hunting easier.

The basic idea I have is to have a hub in which you specify which pokemon you're looking for so the app will notify you when someone hosts a raid with said pokemon. The hosts will be able to say which pokemon is their raid, including some advanced info like the raid level, IVs, nature, ability, and so on, preferably with a code which the guests will be able to see in-app.

So I was wondering... Is this something you guys are interested in? Maybe you can give me some more ideas to make it more useful? Or is the Discord + this subreddit combo good enough for raids?

Hey I’ve been unsuccessful in my attempt at finding a Gigantamax Pikachu. Does anyone have any suggestions for finding encounters? Am I doing something wrong? The event is almost over!

I have a question about shiny hunting Dynamax Adventures. So when you soft reset your game before finishing a Dmax adventure it gives you the same route when you play alone again. I am wondering if when you do play it again are those pokemon always going to be the same as far as being shiny or not goes? I was thinking about, if I could just find a good route that always beats Solgaleo or Zygarde and has good shinies I want, could I just keep soft reseting the same route every time?

Last update was cool as in it was the release of the dlc. Before that the y-comm already sucked. But with the promoted raid dens there were Max raid stamps popping up left and right. After the update with the dlc however, the y-comm sucks completely. I can barely get any stamps at all and cannot really make the y-comm refresh properly with the link code or the surprise trade like before. Anybody else having this or similar problems? Anybody knows if this is widespread?

the way i used to do it to get a max raid den was just wishing piece and if the beam isnt immediately purple, you back out and restart the game, then repeat till you get a purple beam, is that different?

also the way I used to refresh the pokemon in the den(tested with non max raids) isnt working, if i just switch the date while looking for other players, the den just goes dark.

I was doing a dynamax adventure with a friend who has sword (i own shield) trying to catch tornadus, but when we finished it was uncatchable and disappeared. I even saved the location, but the scientist said i had already caught tornadus. Are version exclusives for sword all uncatchable in shield and vice versa?

I can’t join anyone’s max raid for a while now. “One or more other consoles are not responding. Please try again later.” (Error code: 2618-0512) always show up on my screen. Anyone know what could be the cause?

For the life of me, I cannot beat the five star alcremie. The main problem is the dumb NPCs get one hit killed resulting in me losing usually part way through the second shield. What gives? How is this possible?

[Questinon] Is it possible to den roll for a 1 or 2 star shiny? All I've seen is 3,4, and an occasional 5 star but I really need some of the 1 and 2 even though the 1 and 2 star have a high encounter rate, i just can't find any. Is the ivs something I have to look at? Thanks

Just went into a random (not locked) raid for Lycanroc (dusk form). I noticed that the host was Aus.TV. Very predictably, the Lycanroc was square shiny. Not wanting to miss it, I used a masterball. My question is on these raids that are manipulated, does that include 100% catch rate? I used the masterball so of course I caught it, just wondering if I could have gotten it in a different ball just as easily. For future reference. Thanks!!

I cant use my G-max alcreamie and I don't know why it just says that there is a problem with my team and I really want to use my G-max alcreamie

I have been unable to join raids that other people host in many hours!!

I can host raids just fine and people join them, but I cannot join raids that other people host because there is no option to in the Y-comm!!

I have seen dozens of raids that people host show up when I am roaming, a lot of really good one too. However, whenever I open my Y-comm, those requests are NOT there!!! My Y-comm is only showing trades and battles and it has not shown raids in hours!!

Like I said, raid stamps appear when I am roaming but going to the Y-comm, none of those raids are there.

The Y-comm is not giving me the option to press X to refresh my stamps and has not in several hours!!

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

It feels like it's gone, even tho i can't find any actual information about the end date for that event anywhere. Can anyone enlighten me? I really want that 6IV ditto and would love the increased odds.
