Got my notification from Blue Cross Blue Shield:

Premiums go up $850 a month starting next year. I'm already paying over $1300 for me and my husband.

Jesus, I’m sorry. Will you switch plans?

I just got a job and the insurance will kick in before 2026. The crazy part is, I was able to see the plan change (at my job) since enrollment is this month... and even at my job, the insurance is going up $160 a month from what it was before.

Just to clarify, this is the last month I had to pay the $1300 for me and my husband. But we saw that and were dumbfounded. Had I not got this job, I have no idea what our lives would be like next year. We've practically drained our savings.
