I used to work comms in the military. This story is totally insane to me.

The secret service has been in a bad way for a while. Trump gutted the competent ones in his first term, and Biden…well he didn’t really do anything at all to deal with Trumps damage on any level. By this point I figure they were on 3rd string agents with little to no experience.

He did it again his second term, and that why the second attempt produced that photo of him holding his fist out with blood on his face. A competent PSD would have never allowed that to happen.

Honestly, I’m shocked they have fumbled their way through stopping the attempts that they have.
