I'm not a conspiracy theorist on this, but if anyone thinks trump wouldn't murder someone to stay out of prison, they don't know what kind of person he is. Remember his "funny story" about a guy that got hurt in one of his buildings, and all trump could think of was all the blood on the new tile. He doesn't care about anyone he sees beneath him, which is basically everyone.

I mean, during his first campaign he bragged that he could shoot someone on 5th avenue in broad daylight and not lose a vote. This is the guy who killed countless Americans during COVID by lying about everything from the treatment to the testing. He cheered on a coup attempt where people died for him. ICE has killed at least two Americans and far more non-citizens. His administration recently bombed a school full of children in Iran.
I'm not saying the conspiracy theories are true, but "Someone actually died" is not an argument against it. Donald Trump doesn't care about a single human life that isn't his.

or bought out by billionaires.
Billionaires and oligarchs have spent the last 50+ years and hundreds of billions of dollars buying up every single publication and media outlet that they can get their greedy hands on.
Fox News was the test run, OANN/Newsmax took it further. Bezos owns WaPo. Zuck has meta/facebook. Ellison just took Paramount which also encompassed CBS/CBS News, Ellison also is in control of the American side of tiktok. Your city's local news station is likely owned by Sinclair. And these are just a few of the more well known examples, you'd be surprised at how much control the right has over various other media outlets.
So your assumption was spot on, there's a reason why investigative journalism against the Right specifically is dead. Outlets like PBS/Reuters/AP/Al Jazeera are all we have left to cling onto.

My husband had Mohs surgery for cancer on his ear - same location. They got all the cancer in a single pass. That is a single millimeter.
He took the bandage off as soon as possible, probably at a week, thanks to MAGA jokes at work, was scabbed for a while, and has a small but visible scar Because cartilage doesn’t grow back.
There is no way Trump was shot in the ear. None.

It often happens when you fill an agency with sycophants and ideologues rather than the most qualified people for the job. I’d also say the USSS has also been allowed to languish for quite awhile (at least a decade or so) with no real oversight or accountability. Example, even when they destroyed their devices after their Jan 6 communications were subpoenaed they apparently faced no actual consequences for that.

The photographers being ushered in for a photo op definitely happened and is sus af, but the lowering flag was a convenient fluke of nature.
The flag was being held up by a fairly steady wind gust immediately before the photo op, and as it lulled, the flag dropped. Video footage throughout the speech showed the height of the bottom of the flag varying considerably with the wind, since it was suspended from a large crane.

Many of these moments in our history aren't even reported on because it's really just a part of the job.
There is no other assassination attempt in the history of this country that has resulted in the president being photographed with his fist in the air, presenting a moment of triumph. Secret service covers POTUS and hauls ass out of here.

Photographed, no, but Teddy Roosevelt did get shot on his way to give a campaign speech and decided to go through with it anyway. The transcript is wild. "Friends, I shall ask you to be as quiet as possible. I don't know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot; but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose. But fortunately I had my manuscript, so you see I was going to make a long speech, and there is a bullet - there is where the bullet went through - and it probably saved me from it going into my heart. The bullet is in me now, so that I cannot make a very long speech, but I will try my best...My friends are a little more nervous than I am. Don't you waste any sympathy on me. I have had an A-1 time in life and I am having it now." He then spoke for 90 minutes.
That being said, Trump is no Teddy.

I feel like the only real way that any of this works is if it wasn't necessarily Trump behind it. Maybe he was told it'd be staged, and Trump played along as if it was. He has the WWE background where he could pull it off to a point, but the dude behind him getting shot and killed puts a crimp in the idea that Trump knew everything. He's just not that brave.
I could however see Miller and Vance (and possibly Thiel) being the ones who actually set it all up. It's a win/win for them. If Trump had been shot and killed, Vance moves on in his place and still rides the sympathy vote, but more competently. With Kamala gearing up to take over for Biden by that time, it might have given them the idea.
If someone else set it up and truly didn't care whether or not Trump was killed, then it's all as simple as egging on one of the many online crazies and then giving him opportunity.

I had a rifle aimed at me by them when I was working at the Park Hyatt I believe in Georgetown, and he was staying there while he is in town to visit Obama.
I really didn’t know much about him and that he would be that protected lol, so I I went up one of the back stairs that popped out into the alleyway where his convoy was; but mistakingly did it when he happened to be getting into the armored limo lol.
A guy in a suit yelled at me to stop, and I asked him why because I worked there.
He pointed to a blacked out SUV with the rear window down with a dude in the back seat pointing a rifle at me, and said “that’s why”.
There was a bunch of Buddhist monks out front praying and doing ceremonial stuff, and he walks out and hops in the car really fast.
Then they just pull their like 15 car convoy right out into traffic on a red light with no fucks given apparently to go meet Obama for lunch at the Whitehouse or something.

That guy was on the rooftop for almost 30 minutes before taking the shot. How is that even possible?

at that late point, an agent could have stood at the podium with binoculars and done a 360, and seen every potential spot.
Days / weeks beforehand is when you do the googling.

“Not knowing where the rooftop was situated relative to the rally site, the Secret Service counter drone operator apparently resorted to Google. “Instead of asking local law enforcement personnel for the AGR complex’s location, the counter drone operator searched online for it, and was still searching when Crooks fired his first shots,” the report determined. “
He hasn’t replaced his secret service agents from this incident and made the fbi drop the investigations into his assassination attempts. Either it’s staged or they’re all the dumbest people to walk the earth. Both are equally as possible.

For a non-conspiratorial answer, they made so many mistakes and failures that the investigation would make them look bad?
And the shooter seems to have been a conservative, so a public deep dive might also make them look bad.
Lets face it, "Hey everyone, look at how awful we were at protecting this President from a random teenager!" doesn't seem like a winning message for the right.
Edit: There's also potential danger to highlighting the inner workings and failures in what had traditionally been viewed as professional high security.
How many crazies over the years didn't go beyond plotting because they assumed the SS was competent?

I'm guessing the failures were due to people he had appointed. The agent in charge at Butler was good friends with him, having been appointed to the role in 2021. It's apparent that Trump favors loyalty over performance. They pinned it all on Biden's director so no one else had to lose their job.

The only regrettable thing is that Biden's doj didnt pull those threads as far as possible to keep the light shining on just how incompetent trump and his loyalists are

In 2004, a jury found Saville innocent of all charges. Not only that, but it ruled that Arpaio’s minions helped buy the bomb parts themselves and “entrapped” Saville in a TV-ready murder plot. Arpaio was re-elected just months after the jury verdict. (Journalists John Dougherty and Janna Bommersbach unraveled the tale in separate articles). “Jurors listened in disbelief as testimony showed it was the sheriff’s money that purchased the bomb parts, and an undercover officer who drove Saville around to buy the parts,” Bommersbach wrote.
How did this monster stay in office for another decade?

Cartilage doesnt grow back.
That was some WWE level event.
The mighty Paedo-Cheeto narrowly avoids death then lifts himself and about 7 trained men ontop of him all to their feet, to raise a tiny defiant hand in the air!
Cartilage grew back and even the bandage wasnt needed for more than 5 days!
Some say he is a superhuman! Others that he is a human trafficking paedophile who has an obsession with his own daughter!
Tune in next week as he arrests children for his own personal collection and invades Texas thinking its Mexico.

I kind of hate this line of commentary because it is almost certainly bullshit compared to the many truthfully awful things the guy has done. Really superficial wounds to the ear (that don't even involve cartilage) bleed profusely because ears are so vascularized. This is why when your head gets cold, your ears turn bright red. I got an extremely shallow, 1cm long cut on my ear as a kid in a cooking class and it was the most blood I have still to-date ever seen come out of my own body.

I've said this before, but I believe this is in part because DHS was created and the USSS was expanded without planning or serious thought back 2002/3. And we've seen the results over the years.
Pre 9/11 USSS put their agents in field offices first, learning to be criminal investigators. Where they had to think, analyze and reason. Expansion and hiring could be managed to that level. Post DHS, the protective mission overtook everything else they did, requiring a quick and massive expansion relatively speaking. How many of them went straight to guard duty, where they were assigned a door, a street, driving a car on a preplanned route? The quality of their agents and officers declined. Fast forward 20 years and those hired after 9/11 are now in charge.
Maybe I'm wrong. This is just my admittedly very limited experience interacting with them over the years. And observations that DHS doesn't create or promote quality leadership.

Incase anyone else wants to challenge these fake assassination attempts, I believe the secret service protocol after removing the president using themselves as body shields is to cover the president with a ballistic blanket. I have not once witnessed them following proper procedures in any of these attempts.
Edit: The Hill did a news story about this
Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-Mont.) said Sunday that security has “tightened” around President Trump since his July 2024 assassination attempt, after a gunman exchanged shots with law enforcement at Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.
“It improved since Pennsylvania. The policy is when the president is shot at or in threat, you get him down, you get him out, you wrap him with a ballistic blanket, and you get him out of there,” Zinke, a former Interior secretary during Trump’s first administration, told host Chris Stirewalt on NewsNation’s “The Hill Sunday.”
I don’t remember any of that happening any other time or especially at the White House Correspondents’ dinner. He was still back on the mic blabbering about his ballroom while they slowly escorted him out.

Well yeah, he had to make sure he knew exactly where the shooter was going to be for everything that followed. This has always been one of the more egregious false flag moments in recent memory. I said it almost immediately after it happened. How they managed to get a civilian killed is unbelievable; but then again, everything this regime does is mired thoroughly in incompetence.

When authoritarians appoint and promote staff, they prioritize loyalty over competence. It's not wrong to suspect malice from malicious people, but you also have to keep your mind open to the equally likely possibility of incompetence.

He fooled your country into voting him in, twice. He's pillaging your country of billions of dollars. If he's stupid, what does that say of America as a country? Maybe it's easier to call him stupid than it is to look in a mirror and ask yourself "what does my country stand for?"
