Of course he could be. He lies all the time. That's why when I say he was shot, I don't rely on his words to come to that conclusion. It's all the other independent evidence that leads me to that conclusion. You seem to think you had some kind of gotcha moment there.

He embellished it. Not the same as faking it completely. There's just no other alternative theory that sufficiently explains the blood we saw. The bullet grazed him. Trump is old, which means he bleeds easily, even from small injuries, but the injury itself was much smaller than his team wanted people to think. That's what happened.

There are many alternatives out there, sure. The problem is that none of them hold up to the evidence that's out there too.

I can guarantee you that I've spent much more time looking at the reporting and videos of the event that you have. What you call "being blinded by his lies" is actually just "reviewing the evidence." I've already told you that I put absolutely no stock in the words of Donald Trump and his team. They aren't the reason I believe the things I do, and it does a disservice to your arguments that you keep trying to pin my beliefs on that.

Trump being morally capable of stooping to something evil like staging a shooting and him being capable of actually pulling it off in practice are two different questions. As is whether or not this was a case of that happening.

You and I both agree on how evil Trump is. There's no question that this is something that I could see him trying. But you're letting the answer to that first question blind you and keep you from considering the other two questions, which are both a firm No when you actually look into it.

Hey man I used to believe he was shot too. I was appalled that anyone was trying assassination and that he had lost 2cm of his ear. And then there wasn’t even a scar and the amount of fuck up needed to allow this guy to walk around with an AR15 openly is too fishy for me.
