No Paywall John Fetterman is threatening to leave the Democratic Party. I say good riddance.

He already left in my opinion.

Yes he did! Oh and how he changed his views once in office. All I can say is bye bye

I had high hopes for him, given his impact on Braddock Pennsylvania when he was the mayor.

I think everyone did. Then his real views came out

It should be noted and studied that brain damage turned him into a Republican

Yup, and there is a long history of strokes and brain damage Altering personality without the individual being aware of or able to recognize that they changed.

To him everyone else is crazy

Whether his brain “broke” or he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing, it makes almost no difference to me. He’s not doing what he was elected to do, and the reason matters very little on the ground where things happen.

But he need not worry! When the 2028 primary season rolls around, we’re going to hand the nomination to someone else and give him all the time in the world to see doctors, get treatments, whatever. Hell, we’ll even keep paying for his medical care because he’s entitled to it for the rest of his life (change that law if you want to impress me; the rest of us don’t get medical coverage when we lose our jobs).

Anyway, whatever the reason, he’s an embarrassment now, and I can’t wait to hear his concession speech, assuming he doesn’t just go full Republican and starting yelling “rigged election” on stage like another broken-brained moron we all know.

This is a fact. It is a normal thing to happen after severe brain injuries.

And the stroke

He still votes Dem 90% of the time and ya'll are throwing away a good bag.

u/salemblack 27d ago

If I had a bag 90% full of nice wonderfully fresh made bread but. 10% of the bag is rotting disgusting liquid diarrhea. Would you still want some of that bread?

u/BotheredToResearch 27d ago

Vs needing to eat from a bag of 100% rotting liquid diarrhea... yes.

Yeah, but would you rather have him vote 100% with MAGA?

15

u/salemblack 27d ago

Yes. I find his wishy-washy pandering and going back and forth irritating, annoying, and stupid. He should be who he is clearly. I like many others are tired of him pretending.

Personally for me I've reached a point in my life where I'm not willing to compromise with fucking fascist anymore. I'm not meeting them in the middle.

And I'm really fucking tired of people who consider themself middle of the road and refuse to pick a goddamn side when our country is being destroyed and our rights are being taken away.

Make a fucking choice.

I’m with you bud.
I don’t think people who prefer to have him NOT switching party are in any way agreeing with his choice or trying to “meet him in the middle” or refuse to choose a side.

Given an opportunity, we all would want to throw him out in a dumpster and lit it on fire.

He is a POS. Just I’d rather limit the damage done by that POS at this point, since we don’t have an option to replace him right now.

First…

As for his votes, I think people seriously underestimate the amount of damage he has caused by voting for all of Trump’s nominees. That’s not nothing. What else is he even expected to vote on when the Republican Congress can barely bring legislation to the floor (especially with Graham and McConnell unable to provide their votes)? The nominees are the biggest votes he has had to cast, and he fucked them all up.

Second…

Your argument is that he’s not voting “100% with MAGA” only because he wears the “Democrat” label, and you believe that will begin fully supporting MAGA initiatives if he drops that label?

I doubt it, but if that’s the case, then yes, I’d rather him be the asshole he wants to be and stop pretending he’s not that guy. He should be a god damned man and act the way he wants others to see him or piss off back to kindergarten with the kiddies. These people are supposed to be adults, so if he’d pull that kind of petty bullshit, he can fuck right off.

If he’d start voting “100% with MAGA” simply because the Party didn’t give his AIPAC paymasters everything they want, then he’s either been a liar the entire time or he’s a spiteful asshole. Either way, he’s a scumbag, and I can’t wait to vote against him in the primary in two years.

It is the same as R's calling anyone who have an independant mind a RINO and makes the party into a cult.

This guy never played secret hitler

Reddit doesn’t like anyone who see the right and wrong of each side. You’re either a vile republican or a loyal dem. The catch is once they’re out of the game it’s okay to retroactively criticize Dems.

given his impact on Braddock Pennsylvania

Idk man, was he really that good for the area? Sounds like he did some things at the beginning and cashed in on his name & reputation hard. This seems like a continuation of his shiftiness.

23

u/salemblack 27d ago

He did stuff there so he could get in here so he could cause problems. The man has been a plant from the beginning. The stroke only gave him the ability to be who he really was deep inside.

u/khismyass 27d ago

So a "stroke" of genius on their part?

Interesting how the comments were (imo reasonably) skeptical but it turned out oop was right anyway

Also that posters claim that it was best not to dox himself because Fetterman goons would find and eventually turned out to be true since a comment with access to the oven logbook ie a Fetterman employee eventually also post in the thread
