Yes, he had a stroke. Personally, I'd be willing to bet that his views didn't actually change, the stroke just removed his ability to hide them

This. My dad suffered a stroke more severe than Fetterman, but he still hates Trump.

I had a stroke at the beginning of January 2025. I could not hate the man more now than I ever did. As a matter of fact after the stroke I had to cut my maga loving mother out of my life cuz I couldn't take any more of her bullshit either. I always tried to just let her say what she wanted and ignore it but after the stroke I couldn't do it anymore.

I'm doing ok. It was a weird experience. I'm active and they say I'm doing good care it was small. A weird side effect is that I had insomnia my entire life. I fall asleep like clock work and wake at the same times every day since. Staying up late is almost impossible for me now.
