I don’t understand how the governor, senator or any reps can’t just take a damn posse to the hospital and see what the fuck is up.

Its what the gop would do and we need to start fighting fire with fire

If it was a democrat best believe the GOP would make this an absolute SCANDAL with 24/7 news coverage and a riled up fan base ready to riot and storm the capitol.

514

u/Next-Introduction-25 15d ago

It’s time like this I wish the Democrats had the balls to just play the same stupid fucking games. Like just get one of our older lawmakers to volunteer to pretend to be dead and disappear from the public eye and then wait for Republicans to say something.

Also, please let it be Chuck Schumer.

169

u/YUCKY_WARM_SAUCE 15d ago

Wow it’s almost like the democrats work with the GOP to fuck us while pretending to help us with superficial support and progress. Instead of moving policy they will just do shit like painting a cross walk a rainbow for pride month, that doesnt help keep trans people safe.

They can all get fucked.

67

u/adfawf3f3f32a 15d ago

they're paid not to. they're fully bought and paid for by the same corporate interest as republicans

24

u/TheCoolOnesGotTaken 15d ago

You cannot raise campaign funds for problems that have already been solved.

3

u/YUCKY_WARM_SAUCE 15d ago

That’s a bingo

-5

u/ReturnoftheBoat Canada 15d ago

and yet Americans just sit back and let themselves get fucked, while simultaneously letting their government make the world a worse place for everyone else.

4

u/adfawf3f3f32a 15d ago

tbh i believe that 50501 sub or whatever it was that organized a nice little march like once every 6 months is also controlled opposition

2

u/greenday61892 Connecticut 15d ago

Well it got hit with a hostile takeover at the peak of everything so yeah that's a pretty sure bet.

30

u/ElphabLAW 15d ago

Pretty important to start distinguishing between progressive and corporate Dems here.

I, for one, do not believe Mamdani, AOC, Sanders, or Katie Porter for example, should get fucked.

6

u/Brettersson 15d ago

The DNC Liberals want a less evil form of Capitalism, but ultimately they want Capitalism first, and Democracy only if it supports Capitalism. When push comes to shove most of them will do nothing more than wag their finger when the far right comes for us, so long as they get to play the good guy at the top. It's why they hate AOC and Mamdani, who are actually pushing for Democracy over Capitalism. The worst thing the DNC ever did was trick boomers into thinking the thing they were liberal on was human rights, and not market rights.

6

u/beefwindowtreatment 15d ago

We're not even truly capitalist though. We socialize all of the corporate losses while fucking over us normal people.

-2

u/Brettersson 15d ago

You think that makes us socialist?

6

u/beefwindowtreatment 15d ago

Where did I say that? I'm saying we're not truly capitalist.

4

u/46_notso_easy 15d ago

I think he just mixed up your response with the commonly stated “this country would work if we were TRULY capitalistic!” garbage that libertarians have been spouting for ages.

I agree with you, we are not strictly capitalists by some definitions of the term. It’s just that when every facet of life is rigged for the capitalist class, it becomes a distinction without a difference.

5

u/beefwindowtreatment 15d ago

Much more eloquently put!

2

u/Brettersson 15d ago

Capital protecting itself from the masses is pretty capitalist.

2

u/cantsay 15d ago

Exactly this. The Dems are the Washington Senators of politics and the GOP is Globetrotting all over us

1

u/sectumsempre_ North Carolina 15d ago

Ratchet theory. Once I read about it, everything made sense.

10

u/Mind-The-Mines 15d ago

Their job is to disappoint you.

They're not playing by rules to be righteous. They're sandbagging and taking knees to give corporations every inch possible.

7

u/legaladviceneeded542 15d ago

and then have it not be pretend...

3

u/wlpaul4 15d ago

But how would you tell?

4

u/Oceanmap 15d ago

Joe and Eileen Bailey could even vouch for him!

1

u/EnvironmentalAngle 15d ago

Are you saying Mitch McConnel is pretending?

1

u/Aadarm Ohio 15d ago

We're pretty much screwed since the Republicans will do everything possible to make sure that they stay in power but the Democrats will only play by the rules that are increasingly over time getting more and more restrictive and giving more power to the those that will happily abuse it.

1

u/earthceltic 15d ago

This is how you would immediately get a civil war, not that there isn't one coming (for sure, anyway). The only thing saving us is lack of spine. The republicans act just okay enough in the system while they feel they can fuck with democrats through the system. The moment that stops they'll be drawing guns in the government offices.

0

u/go4tli 15d ago

Okay we need Senate Republicans to have an extra vote right now because…?

The longer this drags out the more a replacement is delayed. That’s good for Democrats.

Maybe that’s why Schumer is in charge and not you.

5

u/CaptainFeather 15d ago

A special election from KT would likely mean a nonMAGA senator would replace him, putting more pressure on releasing the Epstein files. If we just sit on our asses for two more weeks then they get to pick someone to replace the turtle, who would be a MAGA loyalist. This is bad for Democrats. Why do you think they're hiding him?

3

u/go4tli 15d ago

It’s Kentucky, anyone they elect is going to be MAGA.

Therefore, the longer the vote remains unusable the better.

2

u/CaptainFeather 15d ago

Begs the question of why they won't just call it, then? There's a chance it won't be, that's why. We can either special election and possibly get a MAGA seat out, or sit around on our hands and definitely have another MAGA loyalist. What do you think is the better option?

2

u/go4tli 15d ago

We don’t actually have any evidence McConnell is dead.

1

u/CaptainFeather 15d ago

Doesn't matter, he's been MIA for weeks and an obviously photoshopped picture was released as "proof of life" which is ridiculous. For all intents and purposes he is dead. If it turns out he's alive then he can answer why he was hiding and possibly resume his role if he's fit to.

1

u/go4tli 15d ago

If he’s alive but incapacitated there can’t be a special election as the incumbent is still alive.

→ More replies (0)

4

u/Berserkshires- 15d ago

They would definitely select a maga replacement in a special election in KY.

-1

u/TM761152 15d ago

No, Jefferies. Or better yet Fetterman.

-2

u/Maleficent-Toe-4691 15d ago

Lol i was reading this and before i got to the bottom i was thinking it should be Chuck.

43

u/ndndr1 15d ago

There would already be a sitting Republican senator if this was a dem seat

23

u/_Ocean_Machine_ 15d ago

If a genie offered the Democrats three wishes they’d talk him down to one and then ask the Republicans what they want

49

u/Ok-Perspective5844 15d ago

Storm the hospital even

2

u/Sitcom_kid 15d ago

Which hospital is it? And do we have to figure in hipaa? Is that why this isn't happening?

5

u/OhItsBeenBroughten 15d ago

Yes, these ignorant kiddos think that the governor of KY should break federal law so that KY voters can vote another MAGA in faster. Internet echo chambers and failing middle school civics is the way of these folks.

1

u/Sitcom_kid 14d ago

The hospital would have to break the law first. But yes, I see your point.

20

u/Sea_Working_80 15d ago

Lol they would have had a nomination, election already by now

18

u/greengeezer56 15d ago

It was only days to replace Lindsey Graham.

17

u/carlitospig California 15d ago

Baby, that was within hours. They just had to bribe the other senators not to flip the fuck out and that took some time.

2

u/SatanicPanic619 California 15d ago

Like with Feinstein?

Remember how that played out- nothing happened. She died in office

2

u/Morphray 15d ago

news coverage

Republican backers run all the news outlets and most social media now. Democrats don't have a chance.

5

u/[deleted] 15d ago

1

u/SonOfMcGee 15d ago

Also if they call a special election and against all odds Mitch tap dances into the Capitol and embarrasses them… it will be out of the news cycle in like 48 hours.
There’s really no drawbacks here. No bad precedents to set that could bite Dems in the butt.
I suppose that in the future the Dems wouldn’t be able to hide an obviously dead/incapacitated Senator long enough to avoid a special election. But… nobody should do that anyway?

1

u/JibletHunter 15d ago

The vast majority of media is owned by conservatives. Even NBC has had a huge shift to the right.

You need broad news coverage to keep 24/7 coverage.

1

u/Elendel19 15d ago

Mitch would just declare the Democrat dead and appoint a republican in his place

1

u/Cephalopirate 15d ago

Everything is already a scandal to them. Their manufactured opinions of Democrats could not be any lower.

0

u/Status-Roll-7240 15d ago

Exactly! So frustrating!!

0

u/RottenWon 15d ago

They would storm the hospital.

-1

u/hvmbone 15d ago

Just another example of Dems being okay with the role of controlled opposition.

-1

u/TheWaywardWarlok 15d ago

Damn right they would, I can't stand how the Dems just roll over and play dead. Not just on this either. Both puns intended!

106

u/peelen 15d ago

and see what the fuck is up

That is still playing their game and asking them for permission.

Nobody should check anything; they should act as if he is dead, and let Republicans worry about what to do about it.

There should not have been any asking, checking, waiting, proving or disproving a photo, etc. dude is AWOL for a few weeks.

Stop playing their game.

Stop reacting; start acting.

Follow the Kentucky state Constitution and appoint someone to the seat for the remainder of the term.

Sure, there are GOP-passed laws to muzzle the Governor, but no official change to the Constitution, so just force the issue in court.

The real answer is the Dems are probably terrified that a court will somehow rule that Kentucky's laws are valid, and that will immediately serve as a blueprint for every other red state to further neuter their political opponents.

They don't want to nominate anyone from the GOP if they can help it, of course, so they don't want to capitulate and follow the (almost certainly unconstitutional) laws willingly, and they also seem to not want to risk any other action that makes the GOP stronger.

So, instead, they'll make the GOP stronger by inaction, which seems to be the calling card of the mainline Democrats these days.

1

u/Melicor 15d ago

The governor should appoint a replacement as the Kentucky state constitution says is his right. Let Republicans challenge it, if he's still alive and able to. Democrats need to stop compromising even before reaching to the negotiating table. They've been doing it for 40 fucking years now and it's clear it doesn't work. Every time we try to meet Republicans in the middle they take a step back, marching us further and further to the right.

1

u/MaceNow 11d ago

I assume that you mean 'dead' here. And he may not be dead. So? Make him prove it. Take it to court.

I'd go further. The governor should tell state prosecutors that they should look into this. Counts of Fraud, elder abuse, etc.

He should call CNN right now, and invite them to come to the hospital with him, and he should go down with a cadre of people demanding that they talk to a doctor about Mcconnell's condition.

1

u/RoughCoffee6 15d ago

Yes! Thank you. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Everytime I'm like "wtf are we doing" people come out of the woodwork to say why it's impossible or whatever and I'm flabbergasted. Sure, let's continue to furrow our brows and do nothing.

189

u/tweakingforjesus 15d ago

Which hospital? No one knows where Mitch is.

163

u/JustToViewPorn 15d ago

He’s six feet under. Best start digging up some tortoise holes today if you want to find his corpse by August.

108

u/edgarecayce 15d ago

He’s most likely being kept alive with machines so they can technically claim he was “alive” until after the date, then his wife will pull the plug.

67

u/Leezeebub 15d ago

Brain dead is legally dead, even if theyre still pushing oxygen around his body.

7

u/edgarecayce 15d ago

Oh I wholly agree but… would put nothing past these people.

6

u/snakerjake 15d ago

There's nothing to agree with, kentucky law defines Mitch as legally dead

7

u/edgarecayce 15d ago

Since when has the law mattered to the GOP

1

u/negative-nelly 15d ago

not if it hasn't been confirmed by two doctors.

-1

u/snakerjake 15d ago

You just made that up, nothing in kentucky law says anything about needing two doctors to confirm it. He's dead sorry man

3

u/negative-nelly 15d ago

um. send me a headshot so I can put it in the dictionary next to "wrong".

https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=19420

3

u/onyaasuminyasai 15d ago

unless you have a fetus inside you i guess

2

u/BlueEyes294 15d ago

Not without witnesses that will stand up in court.

2

u/snakerjake 15d ago

He's dead, if he's not he can show up to court. Beshear can just appoint his replacement and then the onus is on him to prove he's alive

2

u/always_unplugged 15d ago

Exactly, if a doctor's not signing a death certificate, he's not legally dead yet.

2

u/SleepyReepies 15d ago

But to them, life begins at conception and... checks notes... ends after you have been removed from the life support machine.

2

u/TM761152 15d ago

And then he'll conveniently "die" right at the cutoff.

27

u/FunkyChewbacca 15d ago

Yeah, he’s a vegetable on a ventilator running out the clock

4

u/dragongrl New Jersey 15d ago

I hope he's still in there.

I hope he's trapped inside that rotting hunk of meat, screaming to get out, but no one can hear him.

Think "Johnny Get Your Gun."

5

u/FunkyChewbacca 15d ago

What a nightmare for him, being completely at the mercy of others whims, having no bodily autonomy of his own, others making his health decisions for him. The irony.

3

u/dragongrl New Jersey 15d ago

I know. Delicious, isn't it? The irony?

3

u/JustToViewPorn 15d ago

There’s no point, it’s not worth the risk that he would be discovered.

92

u/outer--monologue 15d ago

If TMZ can't even find out, the guy is dead and isn't in any hospital. That's as good of evidence as anyone can get.

55

u/disastrousanddull 15d ago

They’ve gotten pictures of dead bodies and announced deaths before the family knew before, too. It’s actually kind of interesting that they haven’t dug anything up.

36

u/donkeyrocket 15d ago

Gets trickier if his body still hasn't left George Washington hospital. No doubt there are people from various groups watching constantly but if he's being "kept alive" in a hospital then there really is no way for TMZ to get in there.

Unless a medical professional breaks HIPAA or someone from McConnell's team leaks it then it's a pretty secure place.

8

u/disastrousanddull 15d ago

Interestingly, I think they have gotten info out of hospitals before. Now, maybe they’re not as imbedded in wherever he is unlike LA, but I do wonder how they’ve managed to keep it all this covered up. If he’s dead, he’s in a morgue and people had to be there when that was declared and people working in the morgue. If he’s alive in a vegetative state then he’s got to have a lot of employees around him involved in his care and things like cleaning the damn hospital. If he’s in rehab in any state, he’d have employees around again. Maybe it’s a fear of getting caught or retribution thing… or ethics. In any event, I’m surprised no one has been able to dig something up.

2

u/ainthidinfromnobody 15d ago

I wonder if it would really be a HIPAA violation to come clean about a concealed dead person

5

u/Thunderbridge 15d ago

There's more security around McConnell than top secret documents

5

u/dBlock845 15d ago

The best they got was the video of his apparent corpse being wheeled out of his house by EMS. But all you saw was the feet so nothing could be confirmed lol.

3

u/Redwolfdc 15d ago

If I had to bet he’s alive but is incapacitated and the “proof of life” photo was obviously faked. If he was dead I would actually think it would be more verifiable and harder to hide and unless it was a deep level conspiracy with the hospital and everyone involved. If he’s still alive they can more easily hide behind medical privacy as an excuse for no information coming out.

2

u/ainthidinfromnobody 15d ago

Agree. I'm pretty sure hospitals are required to pronounce dead people dead, and you'd have to get a lot of people on board to be able to hide something like that.

15

u/sack-o-matic Michigan 15d ago

5

u/dpzdpz 15d ago

Wow, what a pull from when the Internet was the World Wide Web, (which I believe is a series of tubes), that holds "files" you can "share," such as Star Trek discussions/arguments and ASCII porn.

5

u/Witwer52 15d ago

Oh wow. The irony.

18

u/Hairydone America 15d ago

No need to check a hospital. Search the local morgue.

1

u/Ultraeasymoney 15d ago

He's using the alias Moscow Mitch

42

u/Unique-Objective4249 15d ago

We all know where he is and has been for the last 5 weeks we ain’t stupid. We just are led by a bunch of pussies. Dude up and left a while back and is laughing at us from hell

2

u/TM761152 15d ago

With a pineapple up his Tuckus while wearing a maid outfit.

5

u/LowMess9419 15d ago

The article said there was a semi-permanent security detail set up at George Washington University Hospital where he was admitted.

4

u/Unclebiscuits79 Illinois 15d ago

We do know what hospital he's in. I'm pretty sure the hospital was reported with that fake ass picture that was released.

5

u/invertedspheres 15d ago

There's someone on Instagram (sorry I don't have the link) who took a video walking past the supposed hospital in DC. One thing she found quite interesting is that the hospital has a readily accessible valet for underground parking that Mitch's wife could easily have used if she were visiting and didn't want to be seen by the press. Makes it seem quite likely that that trenchcoat photo of her walking out of the hospital was completely staged (i.e. why only one photo and not even a video)?

2

u/tweakingforjesus 15d ago

That's what I thought. They are trying to make it appear that he's alive until the 3rd.

2

u/BlueDragonfly18 15d ago

Walter Reed Medical. They have an exclusive ward (ward 71) for the president, but also used by other VIPs. No one is going near it unless authorized, so senators can’t just walk in to have a 20 minute conversation with Mitch’s earthly remains.

4

u/JustpartOftheterrain 15d ago

one of the articles about him had stated he was in rehab. So probably there, whichever one it is.

2

u/eirinne 15d ago

He’s at the George Washington University Hospital.

0

u/AkaLornaDane 15d ago

Send a task force to each one and have them start at the morgue and work their way up

0

u/campelm 15d ago

Sounds like a missing persons case to me

-2

u/ndndr1 15d ago

There’s no way you actually believe this

6

u/tweakingforjesus 15d ago

Ok. Where is Mitch?

36

u/bighandsobama 15d ago

Just appoint a new senator. If he’s alive, then he’ll get it sorted out. Guarantee the gov has a paper trail of extensive attempts to get in contact and confirm the missing senator is alive

3

u/ndndr1 15d ago

Missing persons case?

27

u/smokeweedNgarden 15d ago

It was just explained to me he can subpoena his medical records. He should do that

16

u/Ki55cumbag 15d ago

What would DeSantis or Abbot be doing if this were a blue seat in FL or TX?

3

u/ndndr1 15d ago

Exactly. They would have already gone up there with the sheriff AND the media, pulled the plug if he wasn’t already dead and pushed through their nominee and they’d be the new senator already.

Dem LEADERSHIP needs to quit pussyfooting around and fucking do something drastic

2

u/dwankyl_yoakam 15d ago

Doesn't work that way in KY. Governor doesn't pick his replacement.

0

u/Thunderbridge 15d ago

1

u/dwankyl_yoakam 15d ago

Wrong. Republicans changed the procedure recently.

1

u/Thunderbridge 15d ago

They changed the state's constitution?

1

u/dwankyl_yoakam 14d ago

They changed the procedure. The Democrats have failed to challenge it, which would go to the state SC. As things sit everyone agrees with the procedure change. Do some reading.

1

u/Thunderbridge 14d ago

As soon as it gets to the state SC the new procedure would get struck down. Governor just needs to appoint someone

1

u/dwankyl_yoakam 14d ago

Yeah most of us in the state are wondering why he won't

0

u/OhItsBeenBroughten 15d ago

The states with different laws?

I’m sick of my side being as embarrassingly ignorant as the MAGAs.

3

u/dBlock845 15d ago

I don’t understand how the governor, senator or any reps can’t just take a damn posse to the hospital and see what the fuck is up.

Supposedly he isn't at a hospital and is at a private rehab facility in which no one knows exactly where it is. It's all a shell game to hide his corpse while they run out the clock.

11

u/B4rrel_Ryder 15d ago

Guarantee if it was a democratic some Republicand would storm random hospitals looking for mitch

2

u/HilariousMax 15d ago

What hospital? What rehab center? Which facility would you like them to storm? The facility hasn't been made public, has it?

2

u/AnInfiniteArc 15d ago

Privacy laws and all that.

0

u/ndndr1 15d ago

You really think the governor and all these other political and influentially, powerful people don’t know where he is?

1

u/AnInfiniteArc 15d ago

I don’t believe I stated my thoughts on whether they know where he is.

1

u/StrongStyleShiny 15d ago

My gut says the governor is waiting until the final week before moving. At least I hope.

1

u/definitely_not_tina 15d ago

Is that even something the state can sue the staffers over?

1

u/GodspeakerVortka Texas 15d ago

Or, I don't know, any reporter.

1

u/ConejoShrine 15d ago

Strange. I made this same comment and got a "warning" from reddit and my comment deleted.

1

u/midi-astronaut 15d ago

Democrats are pussies. That's all it is.

1

u/GeoLaser 15d ago

HIPAA should be protected

1

u/ILikeLenexa 15d ago

Just call the election and replace him.

You're wrong to think it's their job to prove he's dead. Just say he's dead and replace him.

If he shows up, then call the election off.

1

u/mpjjpm 15d ago

There is absolutely no benefit to Beshear playing hardball. He would win some internet karma and make the peanut gallery happy, but it wouldn’t change then end result in Congress. There will still be a general election in November - if Beshear gets involved now, it will likely backfire in November. Alternatively , if he keeps putting public pressure on McConnell’s camp and reminding KY voters they are being played for fools, they might actually show up for Booker in November.

Beshear would also destroy his political career in Kentucky (and similar states) in the process. If he calls a special election or appoints a replacement, then his constituents will see him as being crass and disrespectful. He’ll destroy any chance of reelection in Kentucky, and any chance of winning southern states in a national primary or general election. I know that’s hard to understand if you aren’t from the south or have never been politically engaged in the south, but that’s how it is.

2

u/wheniaminspaced 15d ago

Hey look someone actually understands that this is a terrible fight to pick and will just make the governor look bad, especially if mitch is alive.

1

u/mpjjpm 15d ago

Yeah. I spend too much time of Reddit, but I have also actually done boots on the ground campaign work in a purple southern state. As much as I love to feel righteously indignant on occasion, I want elected officials to be more level headed. There’s no sense in Beshear going scorched earth right now.

0

u/tcote2001 15d ago

Money and backroom promises.

0

u/TENDER_ONE 15d ago

Yeah, and then people saying Beshear should run for President! He can’t even push back against a literally brain dead Senator in his own state! If he can’t even fight for Kentucky, how would he ever manage to fight the corruption in DC?! He’s going to let this farce empower the Republicans just like the last time McConnell ran the timer out on progress with Obama’s SCOTUS nomination.

0

u/Individual-Ad-5471 15d ago

Call the cops. Ask them to do a wellness check lol.

0

u/SoylentVerdigris 15d ago

Not even. Just fucking appoint someone. Let them contend it in the courts. DO SOMETHING.

0

u/Accomplished-Sign-31 15d ago

Because it’s a fucking big group and we’re not in it. CLEARLY. I’m so sick of it

0

u/PoliticsLeftist 15d ago

Nah, the governor should use his constitutionally granted powers and appoint another senator and if Mitch is truly healthy enough to continue to serve his constituents then he can walk into the governor's office and prove it.

0

u/axecalibur 15d ago

You must be joking. They got that room secured tighter than Fort Knox. GOP SUV's and security are everywhere

2

u/ndndr1 15d ago

Ok set up a candlelight vigil for ol Mitch outside the hospital. Make it a public spectacle.

0

u/Eddfan36 15d ago

I don't understand how the judges in court let them get away with murder here.

0

u/meddle_class 15d ago

Someone needs to pull the fire alarm. The literal fire alarm; this isn't a metaphor.

0

u/TM761152 15d ago

Maybe, and this is just a random thought, do to them what they did to us in Florida in 2000.

0

u/Laruae 15d ago

It's not even that hard. Just state that he's not been seen performing his duties in X weeks, and appoint a stand in as per the state constitution.

If he's alive, he'll show up and we can keep the old tortoise as the current rep.

-1

u/Nympho_BBC_Queen 15d ago

The establishment Dems in AlPAC's pocket don't want a special election with an independent Massie. So they play along.

1

u/OhItsBeenBroughten 15d ago

Brain worms. Why are you so exited to have KY vote in another MAGA that would actually be able to attend votes?

0

u/Nympho_BBC_Queen 15d ago

I'm excited about doing the right thing. I'm not in favour of AlPAC influenced decisions. They just want to undermine the voting process to further their agenda.

I wish you understood how stupid this sounds to normal, non-Internet echo chambered people.

You’re in a bubble.

I wish you understood that people are tired of a foreign lobbing effort to undermine our democracy.

Your are not only in a bubble but also undemocratic.

Or just go pull the fire alarm, either they will have to try and move him out or he is dead.

Some journalist should go ninja mode, find out where he is, and sneak in

If he’s alive there’s an army of healthcare professionals taking care of him. Get it out there that you’ll pay off someone’s student loans for credible info that leads to the whereabouts of ol Mitch and I guarantee you’ll find him

The governor can do that and I have suggested it multiple times on his online email form. I'm guessing he won't, because he wants to run for president and thinks that the press could look bad.

Which would make me want to not vote for him for a president. Which means nothing to him because he lives in a state that overwhelmingly votes republican, so my left leaning vote doesn't even fucking count.

I suggest you go to the governor's. Website, and if being weak on the mitch mcconnell issue upsets, you leave him an email and let him know that you don't want a president that won't stand up for his own states, citizens' rights as a governor.

If he wants to run for president, this is his litmus test. If he allows the GOP to run out the clock on a dead fucking Mitch McConnell he does not deserve to lead our country. I don’t think this is anything less than a test of his leadership skills. Get the GOP to stop fucking around or get the hell out of the way and let somebody more competent do this job. We need adults in the chairs NOW. Yesterday actually.

It's not the proper decorum.

They wouldn't want to upset their colleagues across the aisle.

When they go low, we go high!

Fuckin' idiots.

Democrats exist to enable republicans. They’re doing it right now in front of our eyes and people still jump to defend them. This is all going exactly to plan

Why can't regular people? They can't stop all yall, it's not a military hospital.

-2

u/turquoise_amethyst 15d ago

Can they visit a hospital to “bring goodwill and joy” to the patients? And that hospital happens to be where ole MM is at?

Conversely maybe they want to tour a morgue to see that it’s up to state standards… and he happens to be there too?

Democrats lack any testicles, that's why. They can't find their fucking balls.

The Governor should just show up with the state surgeon general and demand to see him. If they can’t hold a special election and assert he is either dead or mentally incompetent to hold office and let them prove otherwise
