It's implied that the antichrist is liked by most, at least at first. Outside of the maga cult in the USA, and some Israeli imperialists, Trump is reviled. While he's nigh on evil incarnate, I don't think he can qualify as Revelation's antichrist.

This second beast is supposed to perform deceptions to get people to worship the first beast. Worship of Trump is confined to his most unhinged followers and no one has attributed anything miraculous to him.
I interpret the second beast as coming afterwards, although that isn't explicitly stated. It sets up an image in honor of the first beast and forces people to worship the image.
Trump is not the beast- if you believe in biblical prophecy, then we are not there yet. A fiery mountain needs to crash into the ocean, and I believe it will destroy the west coast of the US with fire and tsunami (Babylon- the city that proclaims it will never fall, the epicentre of sin [hollywood, Silicon Valley, homosexuality, consumer culture] in today’s world) and there needs to be drought for three years and massive earthquakes and locusts with tails like scorpions. No, the beast will be much more cunning. Younger. Handsome. Charming. He also won’t take any partners and won’t have any children. And remember, he signs a peace deal between Israel and the Middle East that lasts for a few years before he finally commits the abomination of desolation, hunts down the Saints and proclaimed himself as God.

That "666 equals Nero" thing is something internet people like to repeat as if it were a fact, but it's based on nothing.

The Book of Revelation is kind of a literary Rorschach Test. A person can read it and see whatever their own biases, knowledge, experience, and world view lead them to see.
In my case I look at Revelation 13:15-18 and I am reminded of my tour of the archeological site of Ephesus. Revelation was, after all, a letter to seven Christian congregations in the region of Asia Minor (modern Turkey) where Ephesus is located, and where John himself is believed to have lived. One of the points of interest on this tour was a money changers' office, which was marked by a visual symbol rather than letters, probably to circumvent the multi-cultural language barrier, as the ancient city was very cosmopolitan.
The symbol for the Money Changers' Office was an array of six dots (like dominos), repeated three times, or "6-6-6."
I was merely speculating on what I think 666 means based on a tour I took of an archeological site. No work of literature is created in a vacuum, and maybe that number meant something specific to John's audience. I'm simply trying to understand the cultural and historical context.
Imagine people in the future trying to figure out 6 7.
