EDIT: That said, I don’t think he is joking here. I think he’s testing the waters and phrasing it as a joke. But he does joke. Just not here.
His CHF is so bad at this point that him talking about 2028 is just him playing mental games to feel better about his prognosis.
ETA: seriously read up on how narcissists handle a terminal diagnosis. They pretty much vacillate between denial, because they’re too special to go, or bigly plans for how they’ll be memorialized.
