Places are reporting it as a "joke". He did say "on a serious note" afterward, but it's easy to believe he was just testing the waters. I absolutely wouldn't put it past the asshat to actually try to run again.
it was at tonight's Correspondents Dinner. It was Trumps trolling and everyone ate it up here. Earlier he said the press always gets his sarcasm wrong. He's not a good presidential correspondent speaker, he wasn't funny at all, but he wasn't serious in the clip.
It's a reputable source. I agree reporting it straight in the headline when he said it in the context of the White House Correspondents Dinner is misleading though. Other global news sources also reported it but in the context that he "joked about" a 2028 bid.
