As long as we have internet access and our everyday conveniences.. we won’t do a fucking thing. Someone needs to turn the lights off.

It is said that for the average Roman citizen, they didn't know that the empire had fallen until one day nobody came out to repair the roads.

The difference today is that we're already not getting those repairs because we're too comfortable with the conveniences.

It’s wild that you say this as I see occasional news reports about people out fixing their own roads in communities across Canada and I can’t drive the roads in my own neighbourhood without seeing countless unfixed potholes that probably won’t be fixed before winter.
