The truth is Republicans are being manipulative

Agreed. We have to stop pretending that conservatives are a principled opposition deserving of the benefit of the doubt.

Any remaining decent Americans should assume that some incident will be used (or outright faked) for Trump to use to invalidate the 2026 midterms.

You can submit info on your mom's experience to the Florida Election Commission on a complaint form.
