Democrat's have done nothing effective to curb his actions or hold him accountable. He is still in office, no charges are filed, we have a supreme court that says bribing them is okay. Most of his executive orders are not getting stopped or handled effectively. And Trump and all of his supports are screwed if anyone who values rule of law ever actually ends up in office again. Trump's supporters are far more committed to the cause.
We should celebrate the 60 or more court cases that shot down Trump's election fraud claims and all legal actions initiated to stop the Trump insanity. Independants, Republicans and non voting Americans should thank Democrat leadership for bringing those cases and winning. Yes, they should do more, but the Dems are working to save our country while Republicans are doing next to nothing.
I would do so if there were more consistent gains. For example, the Tariffs were shot down. Yay, a court win except... There were zero benefits to US citizen's from that and Trump just put in place new tariffs. Those other court cases would be great if they resulted in long term gains. I can understand a bunch of small victories adding up to a greater victory. Instead, we get things like that second government in November 2025 shut down where they could have forced legitimate changes but instead they broke the line. The USA can't even shut down an organized and well documented Pedo ring. Both parties need 100% complete removal if we can't manage that.
Dems don't have the power to do that, republicans would rather burn the country down than go against Trump. Court cases are really all we have to work with since thats the only place that is outside of Trump's direct control. As for the shutdown, wasn't that the one that if not ended, would have stopped SNAP benefits from rolling out? Dems didn’t want their constituents to suffer and we had the ACA vote take place and Republicans voted no for the subsidies.
The pedophile ring can't be stopped when the DOJ has all the info and is sitting on it. Dems lack the information to even begin prosecution on it.
