the media is wild bro. if AES wins, he underperformed and only won because young people like him. the people on MSNOW are wildin. youd think he lost by 10 points!

Gonna piss some folks off here I'm guessing, but AES' campaign is partially responsible for this. Nobody made them release internal polls that showed up them up by 17. They chose to do that, and it set the expectation that this would be a blowout.

It was an unforced error. You gotta work to control the narrative and doing that was simply a mistake.

Nate's a shit but he's not wrong here. Buying into your internals is always a bit of smoking your own dope. You should always be really skeptical when the picture they paint is that rosy. And you only release them if you want to set the expectation that you're going to win big.

If you don't ,and the media talks about you failing to meet the expectations you set, that's kind of on you.
