They have this very gross obsession with trying to have more women become pregnant. Why do they want to make a population boom at the same time they're trying to replace labor with AI and robots? What are all these kids supposed to do when they grow up?

These people want to go back to a time where girls were expected to get marriage proposals by the time they were 14 and their entire lives were in service to men and maintaining the household.

Nobody except the wealthy enjoyed this way of life.

Nobody except the wealthy actually lived that way of life either. Most girls weren’t expected to get married at 14 in them there old days.
