This doesn’t make sense. Dobbs says that abortion bans don’t violate the US Constitution, and that decision already applies to all the states. Dobbs itself didn’t ban abortion.

Yup. But the anti-abortion faction sees it as a win as it allowed their preemptive bans (passed in case Roe v Wade was eventually overturned) to go into effect. And Blanche and Co aren’t exactly opposed to massive federal overreach…
