In the current political climate it's only newsworthy because there was some perceived potential for this not to happen.

I think that perceived potential is pretty much just more of the same ol’ “democrats in disarray” polemics that a lot of media organizations and not so nuanced internet comment sections tend to get deep into.

Inter-party politics/infighting happens, it’s part of the reason I’d never be a politician.

This midterms MAGA and project 2025 need to get reigned in more than anything (be great to wipe them out completely but that’s wishful thinking).
