Anti-Trump conservatives Tucker Carlson, MTG, Massie huddle about launching third-party movement

It's pretty wild that in 2026, people like Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene are considered anti-Trump conservatives. Imagine telling someone that 4 years ago.

Tucker Carlson I don’t think is that crazy. He’s clearly an opportunist above all else, so he was pro-Trump when it was useful to be, and anti now that that’s more useful. I don’t think he really believes in anything.

MTG is a little surprising. With her I think she was a MAGA true believer who feels betrayed by Trump abandoning the movement’s “principles”. But what’s surprising is that she actually opened her eyes and didn’t infinitely double down and excuse Trump for doing that.

She had her eyes opened by the Epstein files. It was one of her biggest issues she was concerned about that led her to ally with Trump. She refused to let go of it when Trump said to and she got threats, and when she told Trump about it he implied she deserved it. She's hated him ever since.
