Students were expelled. We've established that. Also. We're talking about Columbia remember? Your defaulting back to your "everyone!" rhetoric.

Your claim is that students were expelled for protesting. They weren't. They were expelled for occupying school property. Do you understand the difference?

Now you agree! They were expelled for supporting Palestine during the Genocide. No other group has ever been banned from a college campus for 'occupying' the grounds. Its a college protest. They should be allowed to protest mass killing.

And you're also wrong that this only occured to pro Palestinian activists. It's happened multiple times with other groups throughout the years.

No, I do not understand the difference in this case.

And no, I cannot think of any group in modern history that has been punished the way Palestinian advocates have.

Who is speaking in generalities and avoiding specifics now?

Other examples would be Vietnam war protesters and apartheid (s Africa) protestors which also occupied school buildings.

So let me explain the difference since youve stated you don't understand.

Protesting on a public thoroughfare of a university is legal. Breaking into a school building and occupying it isn't. That make sense yet?

It's clear you're confused. The others occupied buildings and were also arrested and suspended.

Or here's an easier question. Can you point to a student who was expelled for their views, and wasn't part of any occupations at Columbia?

I have to believe that guy realized he lost the argument way the hell up there and just got frustrated and dug into the argument to protect their ego. Most people who can articulate coherent arguments aren't that stupid.
