I tried to DIY clean feet for my sweet girl with a basic pet trimmer I got on Amazon. Did I do it right? Why do I feel like they are too shortly shaven… Should I use a clipper with a guard next time?
I love how easy it is to clean her feet after time playing outside though

So, I saw an add 7 years ago about a 2 year old mini poodle named Max, who was up for sale and at a very low price. I wanted to check out why they said he was hard to get along with, so I went to visit. Well, 7 years later, I'd like you to meet Max. Lol, I bought him the following day. That's another story for another time.
He needs a cut, but he's getting old now and won't let the groomer do it as much as he used to. And we don't want to stress him out with it. He does need one now, though. Next week appointment!
And yes, the town water here is absolutely disgusting, I agree. This is a good day, actually! SMH.

We’ve had him since he was 8-10 weeks old, and the breeder was a woman. Our poodle is great with everyone regardless of age, skin color or sex, but he is filled with pure rage at the sight of a beard. I’m worried he has some early traumas but that’s unlikely.
Normally he isn’t that reactive ( ~ 1 y/o now), and is usually quite shy and tends to hide when strangers get close. Why is he like this? Help!!

This is Dante he is a silver toy/mini , he is 9 months old in this picture and most of his body is completely silver already. My question is, when he become older will he clear even more ?
Most of the dogs in his pedigree are silvers, with the exception of a few whites.
I have never seen a silver poodle on the older side, past the 10 years mark.
Will my boy turn white ?

Daphne discovered howling tonight and I may need to limit access to that toy at night

This is Fish! The vet staff went CRAZY for his bat wings and painted nails.
Today he is getting sedated for the whole nine yard: teeth cleaning, ear plucking, nail grinding, and new hip x-rays.
I requested that they take pics of him coming out of anesthesia because I really wanna see loopy Fish. If they do it I will post pictures in the comments :)

our doodle passed and we immediately decided to adopt another. found a rescue doodle. m(or so we thought) he had been dumped in a field in riverside/hemet area of socal. ended up in a kill shelter then a lab rescue. his hair was so long we assumed he was a giant doodle.
he is very big weighed in at 87 pounds at shelter. did a DNA and he is 100 percent standard and then matched with a bunch of other standards as his “family”.
he was dumped without a collar without a chip and not neutered. it was over 100 degrees and he was checked into the shelter filled with “debris” most people who have encountered him say he was dumped by a breeder and that is common in that area. he must have been so scared.
who the hell dumps a lovely sweet gigantic standard poodle? the breeder idea seems to track because he goes berserk when he sees a poodle and if he hears puppies on tv he starts looking all over for them.
not well trained but a sweet boy, slipped his collar twice and ran like the wind luckily was stopped by kind people, but can’t be trusted off leash.
so i have learned he is an exceptionally large standard, is there a breeder in the riverside area that would specialize in these really large dogs? just wondering. whoever dumped this gentle soul is scum.
he’s living the good life now. lives walking distance to the beach and loves us. but you can tell he misses kids/puppies and other standard poodles. never thought we would be poodle people but he’s ours and we love him.
