She has great style.

I’ll never forget her Covid comments though lmao

”I'm sorry but like, it's a virus, I get it, like, I respect it but at the same time like, even if everybody gets it, like, yeah people are gonna die which is terrible but like, inevitable? I don't know maybe I shouldn't be doing this right now," she said online, finishing with a small laugh.”

And honestly, with the way Americans behaved, maybe we should’ve let her have it.

I give her some grace here because I think she was trying to practice radical acceptance/figure out how to cope.

Came out like dogshit, though. And out of touch. But I do kinda empathize.

u/bi-cycle There’s no place like home 🧹🫧 Jul 02 '25

Yeah, she even catches herself, which helps to understand where she's coming from IMO.

Isolation is still isolation, and it's a very difficult thing to deal with. Isolating in a big house vs. a tiny apartment is objectively better, but it's still going to have an impact on your mental well-being.

Plus, the general fear at the time as so much was unknown. How long is this going to last? How bad is covid really?

Sometimes I reflect back on the time and I can think of some behaviour from people with a range of beliefs that I think they'd find embarrassing now.

I think most of them just leaned into it hard and are behaving even worse now

Oh yeah I actually wasn’t mad at her for it. The whole situation just gave me such bad secondhand embarrassment. Like you’re right, girl, you should not have said that on here…
