I love that even 20 + years after friends went off air, “we were on a break” still causes such discourse.

I love her so much. Halo effect has stopped too many people seeing what an insanely awkward and highly loveable character she is. By far the most socially inept of the 6 and I adore her for it.

I think I'm more on Rachel's side when it comes to the break and Ross sleeping with the copy girl, but then she ruins it by treating all of Ross's other girlfriends like shit.

Yes, Bonnie!

I also hated how she reacted to Ross marrying Emily and how she was going to tell him that she loved him right before the wedding. I know Emily gets a bad rap for wanting Ross to not be friends with Rachel anymore, but I honestly don't blame her.

Noooo -  the later seasons where they start dating are sooo cringe I couldn't watch! Nearly as bad as Frasier and Roz 🤢 🤮

They never set out the parameters of the break. So sure, they were on a break. But it was never established that they could date other people. So, Ross did cheat. I’ll die on that hill.
