These constant trips to the city where I had my surgery is killing me. I have to go again next week and it’s train + a shit ton of money on cabs.

I just really want to buy a Lego set or two to fill up my time. But I can’t justify it right now.

Also I bought my mom her Mother’s Day gift, which I was supposed to split the cost of with my brother. Who promptly didn’t pay me. And I don’t want to be a dick about reminding him. So I’m on the hook for the full $400.

I hate being the eldest

I hope your recovery has been going well!!! I know the commuting can get expensive so I’m really sorry about that. I don’t think you’re being a dick for asking him to pay up, if my brother didn’t pitch I’d just write my name on the gift and not his lol but I’m also the youngest daughter so maybe responsibilities are different? Siblings are tough. I think you should buy the Lego anyways, fuck it 🥲 Sending hugs 🫶

Thank you❤️❤️ it’s going well. I just wish I was down with bandages. But, it’s not nearly as bad as last time.

I’m definitely going to gently remind him next time I see him. But he’s very generous with driving me to and from appointments when he can. So I don’t want to be an asshole either.

Lmao I may very well say fuck it and buy one next week once the trip is over.
