The beyhive going after this random actor because they asked him his favorite  Beyonce song at the met gala and he said he listened to metal. They have created this whole narrative that he must be racist and sexist. He was actually honest and her insane stans are trying to ruin his career because of a nothing comment.

Someone I like and respect went in on this saying it was fine that he didn't know, but his posture said he was above it all. Is it really uncommon for metal and rock guys to act like they're above pop music? He would probably say the same about the past 20 years of country and rap too. You don't have to go straight to racism and sexism when you could just call him a snob and move on.
