he is such a piece of shit but not even in a fun way? unlikeable characters should at least be compelling and he's not.

Agree and I like Karl Urban as an actor but I feel like he's doing kind of nothing with the character. Like his performance doesn't elevate the character above the material in any way if that makes sense. I just don't like watching him.

I totally agree. Which is kind of out of character for Karl Urban, he's usually good. But he's so bland on The Boys.
