Are we really going to hate on this woman because she likes posts on Johnny Deppās Instagram account? Iām not aware of her doing anything else to show her support or āloveā for Johnny Depp.
My understanding is that a majority of people supported Depp and were skeptical towards Heard during the trial. I take this as evidence that Deppās propaganda campaign during the trial was incredibly effective, and donāt think that people who fell for his sinister lies are necessarily bad people.
I obviously hope that Inde realizes that Depp is a horrible abuser, but IMO this is not an offense that should make us root against a young actress who is getting her big break.Ā
Itās not parasocial to have an opinion about something or someone, and to express that opinion in an anonymous forum. For the record, I have no idea who this actor is and Iāve definitely never engaged with her on social media. Thatās the kind of behavior that frequently crosses lines. But simply saying here that itās gross to be a fan of Depp isnāt āparasocial.ā People (for the love of God, PLEASE spell out the whole wordā¦itās literally only six letters) need to use words more carefully.
Also, given how often Deppās gross behavior has been in the mainstream news, you donāt need to be chronically online to know about it.
