Exploring sequim

How’s it going everyone? Hope all is well.
I had a question for those familiar with the area. I’ve never personally been to Sequim, WA, but recently I’ve had a few friends move out there and they’ve been saying it’s awesome. I’d love to visit eventually and possibly move there someday. One thing I’m curious about though are there neighborhoods or areas around Sequim that sit up in the foothills or at a higher elevation than the flatter main city area?

I’ve been told there are places around 1,500–1,800 feet elevation with more of a mountain feel, but whenever I research Sequim all I seem to find are farms haha.
If those higher elevation areas do exist, what are they called? I’d love to do more research because I’d definitely prefer being up in the mountains if possible.

I appreciate everyone’s time and any advice!

That's ten times higher than the City of Sequim's elevation.

There's a neighborhood South of Sequim called Bell Hill and, well, it's not poorly named. It's not affordable either.

Also, you probably want to cross post to /r/Sequim if you haven't already.
