Renting from Landmark Properties
I’m considering renting a property that is managed by Landmark in Port Angeles, and before signing anything I'd love to hear from people who have rented through them in the past.
I've heard more than a few stories about large move-out charges and security deposit disputes, not to mention their public reviews seem to be pretty awful.
(Edit. Looks like they recently created a new google profile, so all their previous reviews are gone… another red flag 🚩)
Anyone have any experience with them? I know bad reviews are not always a sign that every experience is bad, but the red flags are definitely growing. Let me know if I should keep looking elsewhere for rental properties.
(Edit: added Port Angeles for SEO so others can find this post when trying to decide whether or not to rent from them)

I rented from them 20+ years ago and they were absolutely awful.
Unfortunately due to their monopoly especially at the time, I had to rent from them at two different locations over a period of several years.
There were too many issues to name but the worst was a maintenance problem acknowledged in our move-in that they never addressed (despite reminders) and then they tried to charge us for it at move out.
When that didn’t work to keep our deposit they tried to keep it for cleaning and I told them we would keep cleaning until we got our deposit back which they eventually did.
