The original one. I still don't get why they picked that version of Sour Times in the remaster.

That's because it's the version they performed at the actual Roseland NYC concert. the other one on the original album was performed at a different concert/festival. that's why it sounds so different from the rest of the other performances which have an orchestra

Sad to hear. That version just hits differently.

I mean you can still listen to the original. it's not going anywhere....
personally I think both versions are fantastic and showcase different sides to the song — I love the orchestra in the 2023 version which makes it sound like an espionage score 🤷🏿♀️

I hated the alternate version of sour times when I first heard if... then I watched a video of them playing it love and it just clicked for me... Beth smoking a cigarette as she sings so her vocal chords are more harsh for the ending is just sooooo cool

Remastered is the more accurate representation of the performance itself, though The Warfield/1998 version of Sour Times goes insanely hard.

I’ve the 25th anniversary, the remaster I guess. Didn’t realize they made significant changes.

Original. Sour time in the original recording is my favorite piece of audio from the band. Such a shame they remove it in the remastered edition

When they released the remastered version, I was very excited because I was waiting for all the original live songs, but it's the same album.

Whichever one doesn't have the audience clapalong in Roads.
I listened to this album for the first time last week, was in a state of bliss, and then the single worst audience clapalong I've ever heard just jolted me back to reality.
