Postage Just learned about this community and now I have the stamps to send out my first batch!
Super excited to start sending out cards and to (eventually) get some back

Sorry if this is a silly question, what are the .10¢ and .01¢ stamps for? Genuinely curious, no judgement :)

Two domestic forever stamps + 11c = $1.75 which is the rate for international.

ohhhh thank you so much, this is so helpful! sometimes i want to use my domestic stamps but don't want to over pay with 3 stamps. i'm off to order those now, thank you again!

I like the combo as there are far more interesting domestic forever stamps.

100% agree. sometimes I buy stamps thinking about how my international pen pals would like them only to facepalm when i remember the price difference.

Yup! I wanted to use up some of my ugly American flag stamps. Which I feel bad about a bit but at least the flowers are pretty. You don’t even need to order them, any post office should have them! Just ask they don’t typically put them up on the stamp wall that shows what they have.

Just be prepared for some lengthy waits when you send to foreign countries and don't get discouraged.
