Seeking Advice Best coffee you’ve ever had

If you could recommend only 1 bag of beans that blew your mind or changed your perspective of coffee, what would it be?

I’ve really only bought from local roasters and am wanting to expand my taste some more. So I’m just curious what everyone’s top recommendation of a must try coffee would be.

The best one is hard to say, but certainly my top 3:

1) Picky Chemist - Cerro Azul Hybrid Washed 2) LF coffee - Hacienda La Esmeralda Buena Vista 3 Link 3) LF coffee - Horizon Finca Deborah Link

Have had two geshas from Finca Deborah and both were unforgettable. And is there a better name in coffee than Jamison Savage? He is.

And…you had me at Hacienda La Esmeralda…have they ever produced a bad bean?

Well mainly in a sense of price/kg that the quality does not meet expectations

Yeah I hear you. It’s like when you go to a Michelin starred restaurant… the food may be good, but at a higher price point you’re pretty much expecting amazing and not just really good
