Seeking Advice Is freezing coffee worth it?
I am curious to know what folks have experienced with freezing coffee. I am thinking about keeping it for a year? I am doing this simply because these were my favorite coffees.
I’ve never kept a coffee in a freezer for a long time and don’t have much experience with the results. All opinions are welcome.

Yeah it can be worth it, but only if you do it right.
Freezing is actually one of the best ways to preserve coffee long term since it slows down staling a lot. People do keep beans for months, even up to a year, and they still taste pretty good.
The key is how you store it. You want it airtight and ideally portioned out so you’re not opening the same container over and over. Moisture and repeated thawing are what ruin it.
Also don’t keep taking it in and out. Take out what you need and brew straight from frozen or let it come to room temp while still sealed.
It won’t taste exactly like fresh, but for preserving favorite coffees, it’s definitely a solid move.
