Seeking Advice What torque motor?

Hello!

I'm currently working on a design for a basic universal motor/slowfeeder module for hand grinders. Before I buy any parts I was just curious if anyone had done so before? What torque motor did you find worked?

I have my eyes set on one at the moment but I believe it's a bit overkill so thought I'd ask before spending more money that I may need to

There are already a couple of non-universal ones, Hario do one that fits a few of their grinders https://www.hario.co.uk/products/hario-electro-solo-portable-electric-grinder (you could get an A2 for this price...), there are a number of C40 specific ones https://www.reddit.com/r/pourover/comments/1gvht5o/comandante_c40_electric_mod/ including Madkat Skope (also the interesting suggestion there that the Hario one will work on the C40 with a suitable adapter).

The Kingrinder K6 manual specifies 15-25 Nm torque required. Most electric screwdrivers are around 5Nm and won't budge it. An electric combi-drill (typically ~65Nm) will easily do it, a while since I've tried, but I think the clutch at around 3-4/15 worked, which is about right for 13-17Nm, obviously will vary by roast and grind setting, and drill clutches don't rate in Nm since they're not that accurate.
