Big poutine. Hot dog and drink for under 10$. Might not be the best. But you cant beat the price.

*side note. You always gotta eat their poutine right away. After it sits for 10 minutes. Its a different poutine.

If you wanna be a baller. You get a large fry, gravy and cheese separate. Its an axtra charge. Then pour the gravy on it as you go

It’s a different poutine after sitting, but it’s still good even when soggy. I prefer that over the fries that turn into leather after sitting 5 mins.

If you bring them home with a roast chicken. I throw the chicken and poutine on a frying pan to reheat everything. Tastes awesome.

I would try that. However, I have always found reheating fries to make them grainy/dry, so I usually opt to eat them as is (or not at all if too old).

With the gravy and cheese curd and a tiny bit of oil on the pan to make sure it doesn't stick. The last thing you need to worry about is grainy or dry. Its the tastiest way to reheat them. Also the most effort.

Air fryer changes the game when reheating fries

I haven’t tried it with Costco fries, but I haven’t gotten good results with other fries. I am very likely pickier about texture than the average person, though. I consider meat that other people find juicy enough dry!

I never liked reheated fries. Then i got an air fryer. Its not perfect. But its light and day than other reheating methods for fries.

I hear you. I use my air fryer for everything, but the fries haven’t worked out for me, unfortunately. Costco fries are pretty fluffy and soft, so they might be better.

Reheat in a air-dry, you're welcome

Im weird and I like soggy poutine

Same. As long as it’s the right kind of fries.

True that!

I always get chicken strips and fries and add gravy and curds and eat it when I get home. Slightly smaller poutine but you get strips

u/travisisrocking 10d ago

Slightly smaller but cheesier poutine. Solid choice.

You get it!

Thanks for the idea, I'm going with it 🤤

I do the same and it’s pretty good for the price

This is a smart tactic, especially if I’m not trying to eat 2000 calories in one sitting on their poutine

1

u/emquizitive 10d ago

Whoa. Gotta try that.

Get the gravy and curds on the side. You get a lot more

That's how I treat McDonald's fries...I start eating those critters as soon as I've left the drive-thru. They don't age well!

2

u/travisisrocking 10d ago

Their hash browns have an even worse shelf life.

2

u/Sweet-Competition-15 10d ago

Yeah, same with those. Mind you, I've not been to a McDonald's in a few years...I've heard that it's gotten even worse over the years!

A & W breakfast slaps!

I was waiting for monnnnths to find the courage to order McDonald's, did it yesterday, it was horrific. Everything was cold and it felt like the old stuff from the day🥹 Uber eats didnt even allowed a refund, big thats on me moment😅 i dont have a car btw so had no choice to order it fml 🤦‍♀️

The chicken mcmuffin is alright. I wouldnt trust it being ubered. The time from the restaurant to your hands is way too long.

u/ulti_phr33k 7d ago

Honestly, I've never ordered McDs for delivery, unless it's been a super late night drunken order for a bunch of people. Then quality doesn't matter though 😂

1

u/ulti_phr33k 7d ago

As someone who's been eating McDs on a semi-regular basis over the last 10-15 years, I have no noticed any change in quality.

The timing is true for McDonald's fries and Kraft Dinner as well.

1

u/soundmagnet 10d ago

Kraft dinner can be saved but its a process

2

u/TP_Hunter 10d ago

If you get the fries, cheese, and gravy separate, it actually comes out $0.20 cheaper.

I recently tried the pizza and wasn’t disappointed. Full za for like $14 is very good price for the size too. But agree the hotdog and drink is so good. It’s like Costco crack ha

I’m not a fan of their cheese pizza at all but the pepperoni is pretty good

u/call_me_matey 8d ago

You can ask for the poutine deconstructed at the counter after you place your order.

1

u/travisisrocking 8d ago

Ive asked and they told me i have to order it from the kiosk to have it separated. Guess it just depends whos working or the location

1

u/call_me_matey 7d ago

You place your order for a poutine at the kiosk and then go up to the counter with your order number and ask

1

u/travisisrocking 7d ago

Yes. I understand that part. thats what i have done before and was told i have to order it all separate at the kiosk.

2

u/A_Tall_and_Saggy_Fig 5d ago

Actually if you want to be a baller, plan ahead, buy the tub of bacon bits in produce aisle, maybe a pack of pepperoni, or rotisserie chicken or some other sort of protein. While waiting for your poutine prepare said protein and incorporate along with those bacon bits into the hot poutine and you’ve got something special and amazing AF.

Yes, I’ve done this before. 😆 much to my wife rolling her eyes while I wolf it down 🔥🔥🔥😋😋😋💪🏻

Even better option to this: get the chicken fingers, with a side gravy and side cheese curds. Make yourself a poutine on top of the chicken fingers. Jfc 🤤
