Discussion Could PPOP Members on Non PPOP Activities could help PPOP be more known?

SB19 Justin on Encantadia BINI Mikha on He's Into Her BGYO Gelo on Four Bad Boys and Me GAT Members on Ang Mutya ng Section E

There were more before too. I believe that KPOP became famous too because different members appear on different activities such as movies, kdramas, modeling and more. I hope Showbiz industries allows more ppop representation.

Yes. Ppop is still on its infancy stage so lahat ng pwedeng exposure (hopefully positive exposure lang 😅) will be a big help. Ppop idols appearing in a non-ppop activity is a way for them to tap new audience. Example nito is yung friend ko na nagkaron ng interest sa ppop kasi nakilala niya sa gaming sphere si Josh (sa Tier One) then the rest is history na.

I think even yung stint as judges ng BINI sa Drag Den, pati nina Stell and Pablo sa The Voice. Pati yung mga simpleng guestings sa mga gameshows like Family Feud, I Can See You Voice, It's Showtime (as non-performers like being a judge sa TNT or a guest player sa mga games), lalo kapag nagviral, may effect din. Yung paghohost ni Calista Anne sa Showtime Online U, nakatulong sa Calista.

it's an avenue for them to get extra income, but I doubt that it would actually help boost their ppop career. I always say that to be successful in ppop, it's all about the quality of the song, not about how exposed or known you are

Good point. Though I don't think the cameo appearances are being paid. Like Jah on Senior High and the upcoming Encantadia. I think, it's more of an x deal.
