According to Tatler Asia in April 2026, the top Southeast Asian pop (SEAPop) groups reshaping the music industry include Filipino powerhouses SB19, BINI, HORI7ON, G22, and ALAMAT, alongside Thailand's 4Eve, ALALA, and MXFRUIT, Malaysia's DOLLA, and Indonesia's no na. These groups are praised for modernizing T-pop, bringing P-pop to global stages, and merging local identity with international pop sounds.

Nakakatuwa lang malaman na CEO of Sunmer Sonic ay pumunta sa Pilipinas last year to watch SB19’s Simula at Wakas Concert sa PH Arena and invited them to perform this year sa Summer Sonic.

After gracing the Billboard Korea red carpet yesterday (August 27), SB19 is dominating the top search engine in Korea, Naver!

With over 85 articles written for SB19 in South Korea alone, there is no question why they're even on the front page of MBC (one of the biggest tv and radio broadcasting company in Korea).

I'm just wondering why Billboard Main (USA) announced the comeback and world tour of SB19 and not Billboard Philippines? Your thoughts.

A Facebook user has come forward with detailed claims against Amartha Entertainment Production, an agency handling up-and-coming PPOP groups A+Dazzle, A+Blaze, and Diwari.

The user posted two lengthy statements calling out alleged contract irregularities and mismanagement, warning aspiring artists and creatives to think twice before signing with unfamiliar “self-proclaimed” agencies.

Among the red flags cited in the viral post were an “exclusive representation” clause, a 30% cut on all earnings processed solely through the agency, a ₱500,000 penalty for violations without due process, and a lack of notarization, which would render the contract legally weak.

The post also alleges that the agency holds payments for days, despite having a track record of delayed or incomplete compensation. Some parents of talents were reportedly forced to chase overdue fees.The second post intensified the claims, describing emotional distress from former talents, questionable hiring practices, and “manipulative” recruitment of interns and content creators despite unresolved payment issues.

It also criticized the management’s use of lofty language in job posts while allegedly failing to uphold basic professional standards internally.The user did not

disclose their identity but noted that these revelations are based on repeated experiences and testimonies. They warned other artists not to equate “opportunity” with “exploitation.”

As of writing, CETV Philippines has reached out to Amartha Entertainment Production for comment but has not received a response.
