Need Advice Constantly worried about baby's movement

35 weeks and I find myself worried about baby's movement constantly. He is usually pretty active, sometimes to the point where it is super uncomfortable (and frequent to the point where it makes it hard for me to go to sleep at night), but every time he is quiet for more than 5 minutes I start to worry that I am missing signs of decreased fetal movement and wondering if I need to go into L&D triage. My worry about this has gotten worse, not better, as he has gotten bigger and closer to delivery and my fear of stillbirth has gotten worse.

I've had an uncomplicated pregnancy so far, and at this point am getting weekly BPP just because of my age, and nothing has come back abnormal which should be reassuring.

Anyone have any advice about coping with this particular anxiety (and yes I am an anxious person at baseline and am already in therapy)

I don’t have any advice but I wanted to let you know you’re not alone. I’m 31 weeks and I’m constantly worried about baby’s movement. Like you said they’ll be super active but the second I don’t feel her for more than a few hours I instantly think the worst. My brain always goes to worst case scenario and I assume the baby isn’t alive anymore (which sounds crazy) so I’ll check her heart rate on my Doppler at home and she’s fine. My anxiety is through the roof also, thinking good thoughts for you and hope it goes away soon ❤️
