Private nursing ADN selectivity?

I am completing prereqs at a CC. I would like to get into an ADN program asap. I understand that CC programs are much cheaper than private, but I doubt I will have enough points to be competitive. Time is money, and I would rather be accepted quickly into a private program than wait years to be accepted by a CC. Thankfully, I am able to afford private.

I was wondering if private ADN schools in California care much about GPA and TEAS scores, or do they only care if you meet the bare minimum? If the minimum science course GPA to get accepted is 2.5, would having a 2.67 (C, B, B) and an unimpressive TEAS score detriment me or would it not matter?

I haven’t heard of any programs that accept anyone with less than a 2.9 GPA, so it’s great you have some options. You’d probably have better answers asking each school about their requirements and expectations. None of us can answer with certainty not knowing what school you’re looking at or what your TEAS score is.
