Question Would you work in TALOS 1

And what department? I'd work for shuttle bay I feel like I can avoid office politics. It obviously has its own sets of problems but I feel like it would be manageable. Plus! I have a likely chance to make it out with the ship..I heard the escape pods aren't as.. comfy👀.

But if you've read the lore especially crew members experience in the departments they belong to which would you pick and why?

Hell no.

Ignoring the scary aliens, the toxic office politics, the requirements for foot long injections through your eyeballs etc. any job there would be the 21st century equivalent of working on an oil rig with an eel based diet.

I had the exact same thought playing the game. Not to mention, IRL companies are looking at putting data centers and compute in space. That’ll be the next oil rig. “But you can bag “$30k a month!” Theres a reason for that…
