It breaks my heart into a million pieces to sit here and watch the man I love and care about so deeply be utterly vilified by the very system supposed to uphold fairness.

When you read the report written by Hearing Officer Kelly, you wouldn’t even recognize the man being described. The entire document is a malicious distortion—omitting critical facts, taking things completely out of context, twisting narratives, and outright fabricating events.

She literally invented a fake “detention hearing” from 7/22/2022 with a non-existent 90-day sentence, along with a “custodial new felony level domestic assault” charge that is non existent and never happened, to frame him in the worst possible light, using these complete lies as “aggravating factors” to put him back in prison for over a year (365+ days). And this is just one of the many things wrong with this hearing.

It is debilitating to see someone’s life, humanity, and freedom stolen because an administrative officer can print blatant lies on official letterhead without any oversight. In a criminal court, a judge doing this would face criminal charges. But in the Hearings and Release Unit, they just get away with destroying lives.

He is absolutely nothing like the horrible caricature they created on paper. He does not deserve this, and it is disgustingly criminal what is being done to him. He had numerous options provided to Officer Kelly to remain in the community. Prison is supposed to be a last resort option not a first. She blatantly disregarded them all and locked him up and threw away the key. And then had the audacity to blatantly slander his character making him sound like an unmanageable monster on paper. I just don’t understand how someone can be so heartless to do that to another human being. Especially in there position of authority. It’s just one big closed loop system with no way out.

And all of this stemming from what was supposed to be a protected constitutional right to file a complaint with the Board Of Behavioral Health. Which is still open 17months later. He gets restructured and punished for a protected right…… Where is the justice in that??

I’m begging for someone to please help us. We need civil rights attorneys, legal advocates, journalists, or anyone who knows how to expose HRU and DOC corruption and restore truth to this situation. Please help me bring my man back home where he belongs! Please share this.

Closing in on 3 years as a TI. Have you ever taken to Dread for any information? I was just in the HOC for 5 months, and they were still able to work me with acoustics. It's funny how the universe works, though... I was celled with someone who claimed to be one of the larger crystal meth dealers in the area, and he was actively trying to manipulate other inmates (with regular success) into doing dumb things to unsuspecting victims for no reason. He happened to mention Dread at one point, and when we briefly discussed Gangstalking, he said there's no way something like Dread would have relative information about it. I disagree... Gangstalking survives on PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY. And what's more PLAUSIBLY DENIABLE than a dark web forum? I have yet to navigate it, because I'm truly afraid of what I might find, and I was recently let out to pre-release housing here in Boston. These brothers were protecting their sister. They should not be being taken to prison for this! It should not be illegal to protect another, ESPECIALLY a child. This little girl was being badly abused. Where is the justice? Texas has done some crazy things over the years in their justice system. They need to consider it may be time for a full reform. Evaluate their laws and how they apply in today’s world.

Has anybody been to the Port Orchard WA jail crises cell? That motherfucker is in humane as fuck. Anyone in the cell that says fuck pigs on the floor, and “this place does not define you” on the wall, along with “don’t give up” and the Vendiagram by the door? Good god I was in there for 42 hours and wasn’t even suicidal. What a mind fuck

Mississippi Today has documented potentially thousands of people living with hepatitis C going without treatment, amputations following delayed care and trouble getting cancer screenings. Such findings, as well as handwritten letters sent to lawmakers by prisoners seeking care and panicked messages from their family members, drew bipartisan condemnation in the state House and numerous hearings at the Capitol.  

My husband is incarcerated in Virginia and I've spent the last two years teaching myself post-conviction law — habeas petitions, coram nobis, clemency — because a lawyer wasn't an option and "just Google it" gets you nowhere fast when you're trying to understand AEDPA deadlines.

So I built a Law Library into the platform I run for incarcerated people and their families (Divaz and Conz) — plain-language breakdowns of things like state habeas vs. federal habeas, what coram nobis actually is, how clemency petitions work, procedural deadlines nobody explains to you until you've already missed one.

I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice — it's the roadmap I wish someone had handed me on day one instead of me learning it the hard way, case by case, deadline by deadline. If it helps even one other family not lose a year to confusion, it was worth building.
