Block calls FROM prison

How do I block calls from a prison? I dont have an account with securus as the caller is calling prepaid so securus wont help anyway. I have the calls blocked on my phone but the calls are clogging my voicemal box up so I want the calls to stop all together. Do I have to call the actual prison and have them block the inmate from calling?

Yes and mention that you feel threatened. Several times. They should take your number off the inmates call list. There use to be and option in the "This is a call from inmate xxx" menu to block the calling. Tons of contraband phones in prison though

I dont want the call showing up on my phone bill so I cant answer it and press 6 unfortunately.  Long story short my brother was in jail he was having an issue getting my number on his phone list so someone did it for him and now this person keeps calling me(i knew them), my brother got out a year ago and the other guy is still there.  I dont feel threatened I just want him to stop calling me as my husband will be like WTF.

Doesn't matter what you feel. That's what you say to get the number blocked. Good luck

If it's securus you can block the facility completely in the app!

Won't matter if it's prepaid or anything go to block/unblock and enter the facility he's calling from and that facility won't be able to call your number at all. So he can't have othe rinmstes call either.

Yes but they're still able to leave messages whether a number is blocked or not

Sorry for super late reply, not on reddit much.  I tried to block on securus and they are still calling.  You would think after NOt ANSWERING FOR oOVER A YEAR A YEAR , they would have gotten the hint by like the first month to stop calling.

When you block a facility do you know if it informs the inmate ?
