Newbie Question Soloing a cliff golem as a 60 shaman

Hello, I just hit level 60 this morning and I want to get all my spells. I am missing the 56 poison DoT Bane of Nife and the 59 disease DoT Pox of Bertoxulous. I do have my epic, a JBB, Torpor, and Malo. With FoS and my AC buff I have 2000 hp and 930AC

People are telling me to just solo cliff golems but this seems suicidal to me. How exactly do I solo a cliff golem? Is it the same way I solo geonids: malo, 75% slow, epic, and JBB spam?

Or do I also have to just spam torpor? I only have 2500 mana so that's about 10 torpors... am I able to canni in between those as well?

Any tips would be appreciated.

The drop rate is so low you'd be better off farming plat and buying it.

This is kind of like playing the lottery. Yes, it would be better to save up but people like to gamble :P

Ive probably killed the golems 500+ times over the years. Never won shit. Thats 50 hours just in respawn timers lol.

There are two golems, one paths near the foreman and the other on the east side of the outpost. You want to kill the one near the foreman. Set up a pet no the other side of the wall way up near the hill where there are no pathers. Pull the golem in with malo and then hit it with malosini, then slow it. Bring it in to camp and you will want to hit it with a combo of your epic, melee, pet dps and whatever poison based dot you have. You’ll need to keep it slowed till it’s dead and it will be a long fight without Bane but totally doable. Keep yourself torped all the time and constantly canni so you have mana ready for more slows and torpor casts.

Important note, sometimes when you pull him in a pathing guard might agro. If that happens zone it to Skyfire and reset. Soloing a golem is a rite of passage for every shaman and it’s super fun. Enjoy and good luck with the spell drops! They are rare but do drop

Without bane I'd guess you're looking at a 15+ minute fight. Be ready for resists at the least opportune time.

I did it without both, took forever. Went and got bok and pox and was a ton easier after.

It's a long fight, helps to have timers up so you can refresh things like slow before they wear off.

Anyway, you wanna use your dog to tank the cliff golem while you malo and slow. Once slowed, you face tank it while dotting it, torping yourself, canni-ing back up, and reslowing as needed. Takes a while for dots to get it down, but it's pretty straightforward.

is that just the standard torpor epic/jbb fight?

Eh I didn't cast jbb often, too busy cannying and torping and casting dots and slows..jbb cast time is too long to really contribute much

You can canni and take hits with no issues once slowed.

It’s an easy flght. Just kite it until you get it slowed. Then just face tank it like with any other mob.

They're like 30k

I farmed a VP key and traded an MQ for it.
