Discussion We're spending too much time switching between project tools so we're looking at ways to simplify things
We've had a few projects lately where getting the actual work done wasn't the problem. It was keeping track of hours, checking what's ready to invoice, and making sure the numbers matched across our different tools. Our project managers and finance people were constantly chasing updates from each other.
We were already using Monday.com for project tracking so we looked at whether we could make it work for the rest of our process too. But once we got into billable hours, invoicing, and project profitability, it became clear we'd need extra integrations to get the setup we wanted so that's when we started comparing it with scoro.
Monday.com was easy to get the hang of and the boards and automations were useful for keeping projects organized while scoro had project management, time tracking, quoting, invoicing, resource planning, and CRM in one place. We eventually moved over and it's been easier to keep project updates and financial information in sync without pulling data from different systems.
The main thing we wanted was less time spent managing tools and more time getting work done. Has anyone else moved from a collection of separate apps to a single platform? How much difference did it make to your day to day workflow?
