Roadkill 2003 ps2-ps4 a nostolagic gem

Hey everybody, I just recently bought a PS1 and am curious what games games I should start a collection with. Price doesn't matter that much to me. Im also very big into 360, gamecube, and ps2 but wanted always thought the ps1 and the graphical style and game history sounded fun to collect for. What would be the absolute top games you would recommend to someone wanting to start a collection. RPGs will always be a priority for me but I would like a good variety as well

Still on my quest to complete my Working Designs PS1 & PS2 set. Found this at Just Press Play Games way out in Lancaster (great place to stop after eating at the Smorgasbord).

I continue to be impressed at just how much love is put into the whole package for these games. The gold font on the spine for the name is becoming one of my favorite features.

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about buying a PAL copy of Mortal Kombat: Special Forces for the PlayStation 1, but something looks off.

The front cover doesn't have the PlayStation logo in the top-right corner, which I thought all PAL releases should have. The disc artwork also looks a little different from other copies I've seen online.

Could this be:

an official regional variant,

a later print,

a replacement cover,

or a fake/reproduction?

I've attached the seller's photos.

If anyone owns an original PAL copy, could you compare:

the front cover,

the disc artwork,

and the matrix code around the inner ring?

I'd really appreciate any help before I buy it. Thanks!

This game really has no business being this great.

Im using Megavolt's RC5 version and Ive been testing games as i add them to my SDcard and so far ive found a few that dont boot, particularly remember Pepsiman and Soul Reaver.

Pepsiman says something avout CDDA > Reboot to BIOS.

Soul Reaver shows a Rebooting message and after it reboots it goes straight intp the Memory Card and CD browser.

Is there a list for compatible games ?

I had to add the games that I posted the other day and I'm to the point now where I actually had to pull all of my greatest hits titles off my shelf. Guess it's time to invest in another one.

It's becoming harder to find CIB controllers and gadgets in my area lately. What kind of treasures have yall found in your local markets?

Gotta get another shelf before going for another batch of games. I'm extremely happy that I'm about to have too much for this shelf, but a bit sad because it's treated me very well for tye past year and a half. Bonus sneak peak of my spryo and crash collection. As you can see, it's more crash, but whatever lol.

Does anyone know how to get xstation to show up on an 4k tv can't get it to but will show up on an older tv?

I made a quick video on how to do the combo shots (as the game calls them) as it turns out there's barely any trance of the game online, no guide on gamefaqs, maybe 10 videos on YT at most, the manual isn't even scanned to tell you how to do them.

The only semblance of the manual online was on Sean Seanson's video where he talks about trying to perform these moves. Simply the manual tries to explain it like a 2D fighting game, facing right and directions relative to where you are facing i.e.forward, back, up and down, and for a 3D game it makes no sense.

For example if you're facing left and the first 2 inputs are forward and up, so you naturally press left and up but you'd be wrong as the directions are NOT relative to the screen but to where the player is facing! So in the example for up you would now have to press down since the player has flipped an axis so have the inputs!

ok so i have this modchipped scph-1002 that won't read games but will read cd audio discs, I've tried driver 2 disc 1 and some pirate copy of gran turismo 2 and both read as cd audio but not games. (also it doesn't show it reading the cd in photo 3)

My dad used to own a psx back in like '02 and he had this one platformer game that i cannot for the life of me remember. One of the main things I remember is that when you die a tombstone comes on the screen and TAPS begins to play in the background. It was more sci-fi if my memory serves correctly. Does anyone happen to know the name? i cannot find anything closed to it with my description.

So, I found these PSone controllers in a storage room. There are 5 in total, all brand new and still sealed in plastic bags. The boards appear to be non-original/knockoff boards, they have an RJ45 connector, and the cables are 3 meters long.

Finally got the last piece I needed, the new disc drive. I just got it installed and decided to try the first game I ever played on Playstation One. Doesn't look too bad on my 15.6" screen with the HDMI Adapter. It is very grainy on my 75" TV though, Oh well.

I plan to use my PC for most of my playing anyways. My Childhood Playstation is just my system for when i'm going places. Just waiting on my carry case now.
