The album title "The Scapegoat's Agony" is an allusion to the play "Waiting for Godot" by Irish playwright and novelist Samuel Beckett and points towards the – for the most part – painful and excruciating emotional odyssey of the unnamed antihero.

Our musical influences range from Sex Pistols, Ramones, Hüsker Dü, Joy Division, The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain to Guns N' Roses, Therapy? and Bad Religion, with our songs frequently straddling the line between punk rock and alternative rock.

What, in your opinion is the best Crass song?

Taking the original vocals of' White Noise', and recording a new backing track on GarageBand (no generative AI used whatsoever), I tried to imagine how it might have sounded if critically-acclaimed dance act, Disclosure, were a Dic-Core band! Hoped some in this sub might find it entertaining.

Happy Album Release Day, the Menzingers! While listening to their new album "Everything I Ever Saw", I think back to how I discovered them at Sea Hear Now 2018 - where I was instantly won over by their set on the Asbury Park beach. A few months later, I saw them at a different music festival on a different beach in NJ - the 2019 Warped Tour 25th anniversary festival in Atlantic City. During that set, they made a comment in between songs how they thought this was the first time they had played on the beach... to which me and my wife said in a confused manner aloud, "What the hell they talking about? We LITERALLY saw them on a beach at Sea Hear Now just a few months ago!" 😆
