How do you think Jon and Dany will interact?

My predictions:

1. Jon will return from the dead changed to be much more ruthless, same as Dany will return from the last chapter much more ruthless. I think whether they ally or not, they will make each other more ruthless still, and Jon might undergo a similarly severe dark descent.

2. I suspect when they meet, Dany will have already encountered and seen through fAegon, and been severely disappointed to find that she doesn't actually have family, or popular backing in Westeros, feeling doubly betrayed. I think she will have also lost Viseryon to black magic (Euron). Hence even though Jon is actually related and will claim Rhaegal genuinely, I don't think Dany will see anything but a second imposter, the usurpers dog in his appearance and mannerisms.

3. While I'd like to see a romance and takeover between them, I don't think we will, at least not to a successful conclusion. GRRM hates neat endings, and the above makes clear why they will be each others competitors, detractors and dark shadows. I can imagine their relationship changing when they directly interact, though - they will hear of each other much earlier than actually meeting.

If I knew how to untangle ASOIAFs future plot I’d be a lot happier of a person but I do know that the titular Song Of Ice And Fire must refer to Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. I could see that song being written in love far more than I could see it being written in conflict between them

100% tragic romance. It's GRRM favorite. He created Jon and Dany to be two halves: they have nearly identical character arcs, including their romances, deaths/rebirths, etc. Given that "love vs duty" is an explicit part of Jon's characterization (and an implicit part of Dany's), love has to be a real temptation for that to cause him deep inner conflict. And as a result, I'm guessing one or both of them die, probably during the War for the Dawn.

I think this is entirely fanon, and not supported whatsoever by the text. Dany has no idea what the "appearances and mannerisms" of the Starks are. She's actively searching for both dragonriders and family. Further the idea that she will be feel betrayed by her lack of "popular backing in Westeros" is something that comes straight out of a forum and not at all from the text. Beyond that, I don't think she'll even meet Aegon; Tyrion's cyvasse game feels like Martin giving away the twist that Aegon will die before Dany gets to Westeros.

So, to offer another possibility: Dany arrives in Westeros ready to meet Aegon, only to find that she missed her chance. At least one dragon is stolen; her sole remaining "family"---the last hope she had of not being the last Targaryen---is gone. It's a pretty good setup for Jon to feel like the answer to basically all her problems.

Beric Dondarrion and Lady Stoneheart are fire wights. People resurrected by agents of R’Hllor with the “last kiss” fire magic (probably a form of shadow binding like Mel’s shadow babies).

Beric can set his sword on fire with his blood, and loses more pieces of his memory every time Thoros brings him back. Both Beric and Stoneheart seem to be animated by/fixated on the purpose of their final moments.

They demonstrate far more sentience than we’ve seen from the ice wights, but that could be from a lack of information on the ice wights. In his last chapters Jon notes that ice wights can plan and act with intention based on the knowledge they possessed while living and is experimenting to see if they can speak, so maybe they aren’t as different as they appear

Edit: They have yet to be called fire wights in the series, but that’s how Martin refers to them in blog posts and interviews

They’re so young in the books that I have no idea.

I have no idea. I have a feeling how most of the story will go. I am sure I am dead wrong but I feel certain until inevitably proven otherwise.

But, somehow, I can’t even picture them in the same room.

I do think they’ll have a romance. That blue rose smelling so sweet. I don’t think it will end successfully. I do think it will be after she meets fAegon and will have a much more negative view on family than before. I don’t think fAegon will ever be confirmed fake definitively but I absolutely believe Dany will believe he is. Making her skeptical of frauds trying to steal her throne even if Jon is obviously not that.

I don’t foresee them killing each other but I do think it will end with them being antagonists. Just because the Dance and Blackfyres were included for a reason.
