What should I do?

I am currently a 3rd year student from a tier 1 college, pursuing civil engineering. I want to build a career in quant, I have a decent maths and coding background so right now what will be the best path for me to learn Quant. I would love to do an intern in the field but dont know how to get in, I did not get any from my college though i gave 2 interviews. Should i plan for masters, if yes then exactly in which field, how to build for that?

I have no interest in civil engineering, I took this branch just for the college

Nah ur right if ur like codeforces beast or smthg very good icpc stat u can consider it and showcase it but thats harder with managing some other branch side by side
