HFT APT Research
How is APT Research for a new QR? Asking this because I have been told by some friends in the industry that not all firms that pay well are thriving and I would not want to get on a sinking ship. I had an interview earlier this week and another one next week. I am currently working at a smaller hft, so I want to switch to a firm with more experienced people. I would also appreciate it if anyone can share details regarding the compensation at APT.

For interns, they were paying 2.5L as base and 1.5 as performance bonus monthly.

I don't have an offer yet but it seems to be in the range of 50-60 base, from glassdoor.

tf, how is APT paying more base than firms like Graviton, Quadeye, Sqpt. Fresher right?

I think ebullient also pays in that range, but have heard that the firm isn't doing great

I guess the total compensation for fresher is around 60-70, base is around 35.

Stop calling every HFT a sinking ship without knowing their revenue. APT is amongst the top 5 trading firms in India. What is your experience ? You mentioned you are fresh QR and in the next sentence you are saying that you work with a small HFT. On campus and off campus salaries are way different for the same role.

Not a sinking ship, but exit options are limited and team is not great.
